I respect your opinion. However this game is very honest as to what it is up front. Dont like grindy games. Dont play this game.

It's already labeled as looter shooter, and compared to Warframe, this one is less excessive. Because there was story out someone get in 600 hours all unlocked. That is much less extreme compared to Warframe. Plus, if you don't like look at same outfit, you can decorate it a bit with more cuter outfit and keep it. That will add a bit smile on face. Plus. there was just news out developers will listen to community and will make good updates on game with more new challenges. So it's not bad game after all UNLESS you hate to grind it every time. It's not made for everyone, that is for sure. Game is not too hard to play around, less complex and deep. Just choose correct modules and update it. That is it. Warframe is more bigger and complex, too much characters, too much frames, too much stuff to grind. Even after 1000 hours it's not even done. It's kinda friendly to play together, you can jump in and play together. Matchmaking went pretty fast and so that is less problem to complete missions even at hard mode. Funny enough, when ZZZ was out, i thought ZZZ might even better than TFD, but ZZZ has also own flaws and it was after some time less popular compared to TFD. Well done. Now let's hope the next updates can keep it fun and challenging. Combat is good to go, i have no problems with it. Even Viessa as starting character is low ranked C, but if you do it right, Viessa will do much better job. It means there is no really bad descendant in game. Every descendant has own skills and abilities in game. Then the store. Yeah, it's expensive. Players with no time or in rush will spend it. I have no rush, keep spend very small (only outfit) and rest of game i just keep at grinding, then it will stay almost free after all. I have here friends from everywhere which is good. Because it's cross play and worldwide already.

Just because a game isn't for you doesn't mean it's a bad game. Most would argue pay for cosmetics or pay for convenience is the best monetization a studio could have. This dev team has repeatedly shown and responded to things going on inside game/community immediately and showing they actually play their own game. Players doing something they don't intend, we're not going to nerf this, immediately or if we do whats the underlying cause lets buff the amount something drops or time something takes... don't drive people away from a dev company who is actually trying to do it right, just cause it's not for you

I mean everyone is entitled to their opinion and looter shooters with crafting isnt for everyone, and thats fine and all, but idk what you were on about with some of the points you made. Its like you came into the game with a negative mindset and idk what conspiracy theories youre on about. Whats up with thinking everything in this game is to intice you to buy and spend money. Its really not that deep, the game is fun and the devs are making effort to make the game better. Like its not weird that people get more excited about the loot from a boss rather than beating the boss itself, thats the point of a looter shooter, the loot. You say theres little game here, but the build crafting and gunplay is the main gameplay. As is every other looter shooter like borderlands and TFD. And yes, nexon has a shady past which people should definitely keep in mind. But, as from playing the game and keeping in touch with the dev talk and hotfixes, they seem to be making an actual efffort to make a good game and being honest, transparent, and listening to players. Idk why people keep comparing so heavily to current warframe and destiny, especially when there's aspects that TFD dies better(like power creep and shorter crafting times). Those games had nearly 10 years of building their games. People must've forgotten the bad start of both Warframe and Destiny. TFD is weeks old, if the devs keep up the good changes their making, TFD will also be a just as great game.

So I watched this video already not agreeing with its premise from seeing the title, but I wanted to see what your thoughts were. My view on this game is it is still in its infancy. Yes, once you complete the story in normal mode, there isnt really anything left story wise. Yes, hard mode is mainly just repeating the normal mode against tougher opponents. However, it also unlocks new colossus to fight and it opens the world of min/maxing builds. You see, looter shooters are all the same; you play them to grind. You don't like grinding? Don't play this style of game. Repitition is a part of that grind. RNG is a part of that grind. Most of your points could possibly be relevant if this game was one that wont get touched anymore, wont be getting new content. Like I said before, this game is in it's infancy. Over time, new content will get added for people to enjoy. Anyone playing this game just to look at Bunny's ass is never going to stick around for the game to get new content anyway. This game treats the player's time much better IMO than Warframe (I have not played Destiny). Warframe, you can grind for hours and hours to get a specific part and not get it. Or even if you do, that is all you get. More often than not, I have found in TFD I am getting things other than what I am targeting that is progressing me towards something else. (Example was farming a mod out and I was getting ultimate weapon part drops at the same time. Another is using the void shard farms to level characters.) My literal only gripe about the game is that you can't do much customizing AT ALL without spending at least a little money on the game. To counter that, I do enjoy playing this game so I don't mind tossing some money at them to encourage them to keep making good content. The TLDR of my comment: Don't play this game if you don't want to grind. If you are only playing this game to look at Bunny's ass, don't play this game (or at least don't complain about it). If you are someone who blows through the story and then decides its boring, wait a bit. I am sure conent is coming. To me, it looks like Nexon is doing things right by this game.
