I didnt think it was possible anymore but i am feeling such a massive amount of childlike excitement for this game. Im 35 years old and this game has me feeling like a spoilt and impatient kid. I think its because most games have become repetitive and dull but THE FINALS just brings joy, laughter, excitement and most importantly fun. All other games, even ones i was playing and enjoying before THE FINALS beta just seem so 💩 now.

I’m 36 I know how you feel. I didn’t care if I was winning the match or dying or whatever. Just being in the excitement and playing the game was a thrill unlike anything I’ve played in years. And I play practically everything haha. Let’s hope it’s released sooner rather than later! Thanks for your input

@@Sylvus66 that was my exact experience. I just had fun regardless if I won or lost, died or got a kill, it didn't matter. All the classes are good in their own ways and I love that there is no fall damage, the freedom it gives you to go wild is brilliant.

i won a few ranked tournament rounds on the last beta that was out on steam it was so much fun omg i cannot wait for this game to release. haven't had this much fun in a multiplayer shooter since probably halo reach, or battlefield 3.

I’m waiting to see what game modes etc they have when the game is released but I 100% agree - a solo only queue is needed for sure. The team aspect is wonderful but we need a solo queue. I don’t mind waiting a minute or two extra to get a quality match

Really had a great time playing this beta. In my opinion I do think the TTK could be lowered a little bit for more snappy-ish kill game play? I’m no expert here but that was my only skiff. Soo fresh and fun all around tho. Anyone else agree about the TTK?

Personally I am a fan of slightly longer TTKs because I like reactive gameplay. I want some cat&mouse type gameplay or some time to make a play. I felt like the current TTK achieved this for me and was in a good spot. But I have heard others asking for a lower TTK and I can see the case for it.

Game has the longest TTK & respawns in the history of gaming, melees are one hit kills, a 40 mag AK cant even kill someone, the game doesnt know if it wants to be a BR or a Arena, maps are too big for engagements, people die before you even get to them, went into this game with no expectations but hopes that it would hold me at least until if XD ever released in my fucking life time but dam was this game so trash, I literally stopped playing Apex for some of these reasons, it felt way too familiar but at least in Apex you can actually kill people WITH GUNS, I use to think Warzone 2.0 & BF42 were the worst games, na this is cause at least guns feel like guns in those games. You got like a few guns in this game, all the guns you unlock not even better then the default guns like what lmao, what sense does that make, why even grind? Definitely won't be to get better guns, I dont care for the objective or some of the gadgets, I just want to run & gun, people flying all over the place, hiding on top of buildings camping, like its such a chore just to get over to people so to end up having people get wiped out &/or dying before you get there really kills the mood, it's like Apex landing somewhere thats dead & 2 minutes later half of the lobby is dead lmao shit is so boring, you don't drop in this game but I felt the same kina boredom, I shit on BF42 & Warzone 2.0 especially after what they did to Caldera but at least you can get into engagements & guns feel like guns, do they feel as good as other games like Apex or XD na but better then this game. For those that are enjoying it coo, I just feel like the people that want a arcade shooter coulda got that with XD had they launched so as a result people have flocked to the next thing which so happen to be the Finals, can't tell you how many people have commented on a XD twitter post or KZbin video saying "I was excited for XD, now I dont care because of the Finals" granted if you just want a shooter you'll flock to whatevers out but if you like good TTK's & instant respawn times & being able to change your guns & person on the fly & have multiple maps that feel different, Finals doesn't even come close but theres one thing the Finals wins at, even trash cod wins at... & That's a release date, at least y'all got a PvP to play lol but yea this game is just ridiculous, you get shot at by two people & your using a AR or SMG your smoked, cause TTK so long & other guns have like 20 mags, like the MP5 got like 20 measley bullets like what lmao games a joke & well I feel like XD's dev team is a joke as well & have gotten sick & tired of the BS rollercoaster ride of XD but I still won't just settle for anything that's out because all this game did for me was give me a dam headache & made me thought, I was playing Apex all over again in a sense & I'm done with that game even though it was my main PVP for years that said I'd rather play that for a whole day than to even play one match of this game, I'll play BF42 & Warzone 2.0 both before I play this game & I hate both of those games as it's just a campy experience & hard to get engagements on most maps.

I’ve heard some horror stories about Nexon stuff and Maplestory but never played it myself. I haven’t played many Nexon published games really. And I think Embark Studios has a strong voice on this one, so I’m optimistic!

Yeah Embark I think won’t let Nexon boss them around, mainly because these guys are the guys that made battlefield big so they have some pull in what gets done and not. I’m sure other publishers would love to work with those guys and Nexon won’t want to loose out on some really great talent who has already proven they know what they are doing.

Embark studios is self-developing and self-publishing. there's no need to worry. Nexon has shown to be very hands-off with embark's projects. nexon is embark's majority shareholder, not publisher.
