I’ve seen this idea mentioned before and I actually think it’s pretty good. Or perhaps some kinda of dash/lunge that is charged by deflecting damage

No they do not. Deflect only reduces incoming damage by 80% and returns bullets with base damage in a hipfire pattern. Deflected bullets also do not get headshot multipliers.

As a dual swords fanatic I have absolutely no qualms admitting they are the worst weapon in the game at the moment. But games are meant to be fun and running them is always a blast so I keep it pushing 🙏

It’s definitely best just to play what makes the game enjoyable for you. There’s plenty of ways to benefit your team with all classes and builds. Playing META all the time is boring imo

They block all melee including charge and slam! Really handy, though they don’t actually reflect any damage from melee, just block.

Whoa, just passing by, but is that a half controller and mouse setup you got? I haven't used that since overwatch 1 since no game supports it well enough. I might get my ps move nav controller out of storage and try it out again if i can remember what software i used to set it up.

It’s not half controller, I use an Azeron Cyborg Compact keypad and a mouse. it’s essentially still kbm bindings but movement is bound to the analog stick. Some games (like The Finals) detect the analog stick and flash back and forth between kbm and controller prompts as a result

Not all games support them, but when it is supported it’s literally game changing. Playing standard kbm feels weird and lethargic now especially in a fast paced shooter like this.

3 hours…. hmm it’s definitely possible! I just recorded a 5 game win streak on Powershift but I’m not sure it was quite that long ago. I only ran swords very briefly though so not sure

It takes good teamwork and smart plays to counter especially considering how uncommon it is. I personally feel like it’s a generally an easy counter if you’re coordinated which is why in some of my runs I have to swap to AKM or FCAR for some range.

Dual blades and riot shield need some work. Maybe if they made them not so mid u wouldn’t see model every game lol

I feel like it’s a hard line to walk. Make them too strong and you’d get non stop whining haha, but I do agree that they both (swords more so than shield) needs some kind of buff

As I’ve stated multiple times in the comments of plenty of my videos, I do not use a controller at all in this game or any other FPS. I use an Azeron Cyborg Compact keypad. It has KBM controls aside from a single analog stick that some games, such as The Finals, have difficulty reading which causes the prompts on screen to flash back and forth. This has virtually no impact on my aiming which is done entirely with mouse. I encourage you to be more inquisitive in the future instead of passing judgement 🙏
