THE FINDHORN FILM

Here are scenes from the film I co-produced with director and co-producer Kurt Mann, entitled OPENING DOORS WITHIN. It follows the spiritual journey of Eileen Caddy, co-founder of the famous and magical Findhorn Garden in Scottland. It was produced with the Findhorn Foundation over the course of 3 years from 1988 to 1991.

Wow, am in tears. Born in 1958, my mom brought me up on stories about findhorn(amongst other stories). It was so real to me. I remember wanting to grow tomatos(from seed, that was cheaper on the budget of a child). My grandfather, who could basically grow anything, said "no, young plants are best are best". I went with seeds. I knew plants could communicate, but as i held the seed in my tiny hands declairing my love and intent for them before planting, i got quite the surprise. The seeds spoke, to ME. They told me exactly what to do(won't drag on with details). The seeds sprouted in record time and thrived! The "old folks were amazed! But i knew...

I first visited the Findhorn community in 1974 . I spend a month at the community taking different programs every week. It literally totally opened my consciousness. I returned again in 1982 with my newly married bride, Barbara.

I was also fortunate to have met Dorothy MacLean in the 70s at the fall Common Ground Fair in Maine. I had many questions for her, especially concerning how to deal with both animal pests and insect pests in the garden without the use of chemicals or other traps, etc. Her guidance was perfect.

It's amazing how such a beacon of love and light as Findhorn draws attacks from those who worship a fearful, judgmental God. Their fear- and guilt-based religion blinds them to the presence of love, and, in fact, they fear love because it challenges their core belief in a harsh and petty God who damns everyone who doesn't believe as they do.

I am here, your sister in Christ, Eileen Caddy, Aunty Eileen. Before the creation of the community that I founded along with Peter and Dorothy, called Findhorn, there was guidance. I was chosen to receive instructions. All of which, from the point of view of the material mind seemed unfathomable and yet to those who listened to what I received and felt the hand of God and the guidance that came through the messages I received, they heard. To those came faith, came a trust nearly unshakable, and before our very eyes and the eyes of the world, blossomed a thriving, sustainable, spiritually founded community. They say great minds think alike, small minds differ. But in reality, most of the great minds of inventors will tell you that through all their struggles came a momentary flash, a lightbulb, an idea they had not considered. Some of them even acknowledging that this information must have come from spirit, and so indeed I can tell you it did. Most, if not all of the great inventions and co-creations that have changed the lives of those on earth in innumerable ways, came from guidance. Souls in the spirit world informing the so-called great minds. Myself, despite delving into metaphysics, mysticism, spiritualism, and all of the esoteric teachings of my day, I came from a very limited or parochial school of thought, and this informed much of what I received, however blessed it was. And as I have said before, if one reads between the lines of the prayers, of the guidances, you shall find the asking for divine love, the asking for the infilling, inflowing of God’s grace, and the asking to be in the will of the Creator. For though my mind may have had a limited perspective, when my soul was open, truth came through and, on this truth, on this foundation, was built a community. I tell you these things because you are a community, or may I say you are several communities consisting of many diverse schools of thought, cultures, belief systems, and yet here you are, in prayer to receive guidance from us, to receive the great love of God, to allow your souls to be informed, that your minds may receive and you may bring about a new world based on love and peace and sustainability and all the aspirations of every blessed soul not only upon the earth, but in the celestial heavens. When you allow this guidance, when you allow the love of God to inform your minds in your daily walk, you co-create with us and with God above a new world. I wish for you, not only a coming together in this way through this medium but that you come together and gather in person, with each other as often as possible. For, although you are a church without walls, without the limitations of so many other communities and groups, you are one in the love of God. With God, all things are possible. May your community be ever-blessed, ever-growing, ever-loving, everlasting. I am your sister and celestial friend and I thank you. May God bless you. I am Eileen Caddy. Go in peace. Bonjour Serait-il possible d'avoir une traduction française de ce film s'il vous plait ? Pendant deux années j'ai partagé chaque jour sur un site la page de " La petite voix "; pourquoi deux année me direz-vous ? La première année, c'était lors d'une renaissance, que je nomme Miracle, ou la Lumière s'est faite en mon cœur, la porte de mon âme et m' a révélé la partie Divine qui vibrait et vivait en mon étreté . La deuxième année pour me nourrir pleinement, et être dans une entente complète entre ce que je lisais et ce que mon mental, parfois menteur ainsi que certains enseignements reçus depuis mon plus jeune age qui avaient été fourvoyés concernant tant de choses importantes à vivre et à vibrer envers nous-même, envers nos Sœurs et Frères, notre Terre-Mère, le Vivant en ce monde. L' Amour étant la Main de Dieu en tous et tout. Pourquoi le partage ? Ce partage par amour envers Tous après avoir longtemps cherché pour certains de ces partages, la petite voix en moi qui me guidait là ou je m'égarais, j'avoue qu' il me fallait parfois une journée pendant laquelle je recopiais le texte et ou j'ajoutais un collage de photo que je composais avec amour étant dans l'accord et l'acceptation de ce que révélait le texte. Aussi j'étais très heureuse de voir, que mon partage, se partageait pour gonfler un égrégore d'amour Divin sur le nouveau monde Je rend grâce que ce livre m' est été offert et je rend grâce à Madame Eilenn Caddy d'avoir partagé ces messages comme Dieu lui a demandé. A ce jour, je reçois de Findhorn, un message chaque semaine que je partage avec amour également. Aussi, me servant d' un logiciel traducteur concernant les écrits, je désirerais comme beaucoup je pense, pouvoir comprendre vos partages et films sur "You tube". Très sincèrement et cordialement,

Go once...Findhorn..will insure you return....spent many summers there as a wee boy in the 1960's..the ripe age of 10 onwards. Even got involved with the salmon fishers who would take me with them over to Culbin Sands, where they let me help.. They taught me to the coil the ropes the nets were attached to, and eventually let me row out in a circle..the blue boats as part of the rew that let out the nse nets...right on the bay entrance......then we'd drag the net in and deal with the salmon....Findhorn is in my blood, and now closing in on 66, I've lived on the west coast of Canada for some 40 years now...the place....it never leaves me. From family holidays in a caravan, running through the dunes...to spending the entire summer there..My parents managed to get me "digs"...was so young...but never felt lonely, or lost...It was Findhorn

Yep, those were days. Now the place is overrun by "Tree huggers". Fishing has long gone and the mouth of the bay is home to a bunch of seals that target the salmon so that have no chance to get up river. In your younger days seals were shot to protect the salmon stalks and local livelihood. These days because seals look cute they have to be protected. They never got a chance to set up a colony at the mouth of the bay and ambush fish but were left to use every other part of the coast.
