The Finest Shift: Our Mustang Gets A Tremec TKX

Our 1994 Mustang GT has undergone numerous revisions over the years, with the most recent being a transition from dragstrip performance to improved drivability. However, our journey wasn’t over yet. After 30 years and 114,000 miles, our trusty T-5 transmission in our SN95 was ready to retire. Though reluctant to part with it, we knew its time had come. This prompted us to install a brand new Tremec TKX manual transmission and Spec twin-disc clutch! Jump in as we explore what sets the Tremec TKX apart and get back to enjoying the thrill of shifting gears in our late-model Mustang.

My 92 is still on my original T5 too, the TKX looks awesome.
