Be weary of a loud compressor in an enclosed shop. My last one had a pretty loud IR in it which was right next to the alignment rack and my bay. 9 months of that and my ears have a pretty constant ring, I'm so glad my current shop has it mounted outside

I think the sound of your compressor in that rectangular shop could get annoying, the sound is amplified within those metal walls. Here is an idea build a box (or small room) that completely encloses your compressor make it wider and taller than needed, leave plenty of room. staple egg crate foam on the inside for sound suppression, The very top of this box is were you will fit a flat low profile fan that cycles on with the compressor. with small louvers at the bottom outside of the box to expel the warm air. Just an Idea
