I just recently started a brand new run of Dark Souls 3 for the first time in ages and have been rediscovering all there is to find in this game. It's been frustrating and full of dispair at each failure or missed opportunity, but there's no relaxation like talking to the firekeeper, she's a beacon of calm in a hurtful land. *Tldr* you timed this video perfectly and I'm grateful that I can come back to this whenever I feel like throwing something across the room. PS: I know dark souls 2 is widely considered the worst of the souls games but I'd love it if we could get an emerald herald ASMR, she was always my favorite of the firekeepers because her design is so good.

The game is a lot more managable with a friend tho. So if you ever would want to give it another try I would recommend playing it with someone else

I will speak in Dark Souls terms, not to put myself too much into this, but to show what the games gave me, and what you eventually have given me. Before Dark Souls, I was depressed to the brink of suicidal thoughts. The original Dark Souls was the first thing that gave me hope that one day I could find a respite of the utter blackness my life was, that bore a striking resemblance to the one of Dark Souls. Somewhere, I knew, my Bonfire awaited me. I just had to push around that one more corner. Just a little bit further into the darkness, and my very own Sun would be there. On my journey, I rested at fires lit by those who came before me and heed to their advice. Finally I arrived to the Kiln, and linked the Fire. I knew that even though my end would be to perish as a forgotten knight amidst a dark world, the journey was not in vain. I had carried the Flame, and maybe I had given it to someone unknown to me to carry it ever further. I found a brief respite, but the path was still long ahead of me, full of perils, pain and loss. These things came to define me, from a certain point of view - whatever life would throw at me, I would overcome. The Throne of Want before me, I still knew that not all the Souls in the world would not make me happy, wouldn't heal the wounds I cherished so dearly for the strength the pain gave me. I knew: "I have to drive out this demon inside of me, build a better future". Before the Unkindled Ash awoke, I discovered ASMR, the artist being my real life Firekeeper, tending to my Soul's decay before I went back into the cold dark again. When my Dark Soul was whole once more, I knew I'd have to paint a new world with the blood of the old me. I knew that if I truly wanted to be rid of depression, I had to redefine myself and the world. That I did. I began anew. The Grand Archives changed to the university's library, pvp duelling to HEMA. I was whole once more. But the Dark Sign was still branded in my flesh. A murmur of dark that needed to be cleansed. This video spoke the two languages of healing I understand - Dark Souls and ASMR. When the light chipped away the dark, my very own Dark Sign, rivers ran on my cheeks. I feel this was the last sip of Estus I needed to be fully healed. Thank you, Unknown ASMR Firekeeper. May you find your Sun as well, and be cleansed of the sadness, hate and bitterness as I was, if you bear any. I must go now, I still need to pay my last respects to the man who traversed the Abyss and to visit his grave once more to say goodbye.
