Thunder Storms give me anxiety. I would love to hear this script done without the sound of thunder and or rain. I actually like the story.

I remember hearing a story on a documentary about Genghis Khan and a thunderstorm. He and his army were out on the open plains when a thunderstorm came through. His army were concerned (for good reason) but Genghis stood tall as the lighting streaked the sky. His soliders asked why he was not afraid. He answered "I have no where to hide from the storm so it is meaningless to fear it." It may seem weird but it helped me especially when I'm walking home from work and its thundering. I either change my route to be under cover or don't worry about it. Of course if lighting is about then its best to get out of Dodge, but thunder doesn't scare me anymore. I find it quite invigorating. Hope this legend helps you too.

@@Shannon-f8w I'm not who you were talking to but I just want to say that NORMALLY I hate it when people give advice for anxiety that boils down to "just get over it". But this was...nice advice. It's something that actually worked for you and not just a "I saw a FB post that said it", its a historical Fun Tidbit, and it's based around "you might as well do the thing because either it's going to be awful or it's not but hoping for it not to be won't do anything to help" instead of "just be happy" or "it's not that bad" like *too much* anxiety "advice" often is. I respect some pragmatic advice.
