Update Patch 2.0: The new Patch is here and they nerf the focus even more, they removed the focus regeneration on the gloves, you can't get this stat on the gloves in Patch 2. Aside from a lower focus regeneration the rest of the build works and feels the same as in this video.

Looking forward to your tests of how the new Patch changed it all :) I do think that not only Focus needs a bit more love, but also how we are able to just stagger big bosses.

I’m working now on a new build but they nerf the focus even more now. The build in this video still works but one you can’t get focus regeneration on the gloves anymore and second you need to put more points into the stats if you want more damage as I’m now seeing the stats give you more damage scaling.

Also, they nerf the weapon "Falling sky" by removing the attack bonus from 5% to 0 !!! OMG !!! Anyway, again, good video of fire build as usual :) @larrypuss Do you have a build based on double dagguers ? i'm looking for such dps build... :\

Yes I do and it’s still the most overpowered build I have even in patch 2, it has the most consistent crucible clean of all the build I’ve done so far. Check the “Lightning Rogue” build from 11 days ago.

I made this build in patch 2.0, so what you see here is still on except for the gloves, you can’t get focus regeneration in the gloves anymore.

It was a common drop, had a lot of them and I just enchant them until I got the one you see.

Is this a mod? How come u have so many items(blue embers) layed out on each level?

No mode, I just didn’t pick up junk items. And they remain there from previous crucible runs. I’m not sure if this is an intentional mechanic or just a game bug where you find items that you don’t pick up from previous runs but that is what those blue things are.

Pew Pew fire. I love the staff. My only issue with it is that the 'fire wave' lock on seems super unreliable. Sometimes they target guys at range, sometimes it just spreads and doesn't care about what targets are where. Delayed again? I don't show anything about a second delay in their discord. Last one was still the first delay announcement to sometime this week.

On the fire wave yes it fires in a con, but it’s working as indeed. The ice equivalent from the fallen sky staff for example is not working as indeed as all the projectiles come together on one target, that is why is so op. On the patch they said it will come earlier this week, it’s already mid week now, so it’s running late.

Yep, the only significant change is they removed the focus regeneration on the gloves. You can only get focus regeneration from the helmet now. The rest is basically the same, overall focus gain is still not working from what I’ve tested today.

@@LarryPuss I honestly don’t know why they keep nerfing things lol… even respec costs 1 fallen ember per point :/ sure those are farmable but ?? Need to farm to do a full respec? Lordy
