I like this shield but I find the best ash of war is cold infused with the basic scaling to keep the guard boost. At least this isn't bugged like chicken leg or other stupid perfume. And you will not need summons.

Can this shield be used to parry in the abismal woods.

How are your enchantment stats so high, my extra elemental damage is at most an extra 15% but yours was in the 20s. Doesn’t upgrading before enchanting impact that?

This is the easiest way to beat the game but if you are still having problems progressing through the game even with this build then it means you simply did not collect enough Scadutree Fragments. The game tells you from the start when you enter the DLC that these “Scadutree Fragments” will help you bolster your abilities to deal and negate damage.

i tried these in duels and fell in love. to change things up, and you should instead of spamming l2, try jumping r2s. they have good range too and can do good chip dmg while building up the bleed.

Awesome guide, love this setup, especially thematically. I would like to note: it's actually pretty balanced if not borderline weak compared to other claws and fist like weapons, but it does have the ability to catch some players off guard as these can headshot players in PvP. In order to tackle this run the crucible knot talisman. It's DPS and reach however can be quite nice for light attacks, it's unlikely to get nerfed. The sword of night however seems likely to get buffed however I do love the mix ups the weapon has.

In one of the ruined forge areas you can get the "Smithing Talisman" which enhances thrown weapon damage.

I don't know if this was luck, but i tried getting it at the Stagefront site of grace. Where you fight the divine beast and i got it on the second try.

This is not an easy drop.

I've already touched most of them so I can pick up from the closest one to continue. That Arc requirement is killing me though. That's the one stat I have the least amount of points in (30-35). Reat is ave 65-75. Guess I'll have to add some points best I can in Arcane. Subscribed just for this nice guide, Liked and Bookmarked and going for it tomorrow. Cheers.
