I think this will be the benchmark for the future. Don’t worry about the bean counters and the construction partners, there is always a healthy tension between the two to justify their existence- trust me, I’ve lived and breathed construction for 30 years. Can be stressful for those not familiar (the grand designs effect) but don’t worry, it will get done. Stay focussed on your dream. Wow, this is amazing I am really looking forward to seeing how this progresses, reminds me of my first site I worked on with my Dad, he brought me on as a goffer for the brickies and they paid me at the end of the week on how hard they thought I worked this was just over 40 years ago. Next thing I know after a few months painters show up I get a job with them and I am there to see the grand opening. Then 30 years later I get a job working a stint at the place and they had a 30 year anniversary event while I was there. This brought all that back, wishing Tom Junior and family all the best with the project and keep those videos coming.☘ : }

Could you ever have imagined creating such an iconic business and now building an iconic showroom and facilities? The costs are eye watering though. My local golf club came up with a great scheme by taking all the spoil from a major development to help create a new driving range! Always worth looking for local projects to help dispose of spoil at greatly reduced cost if you have further excavations.

Exciting times for the business, looks like its going to be a special development. I work in Construction, its a frustrating industry and will be a million miles away from what you are used to. You will experience massive highs and frustrating lows over the course of the build, but focus on how good it will be when its finished and trust the process.....even though at times you will think that's impossible.

I can see the next development stage having lots of smaller private garages for people to rent. Space for say 4/6/8 cars with security. So its private with storage for extras. Then owners can use the members lounge etc in the main area too. Would be epic.
