It is! It's a frame perfect trick which is very hard to do. Also even if you get it, he can break out randomly at 2 HP as I know..

Im pretty sure he’s playing on hard mode, on hard mode the vacuum is more powerful allowing you to catch ghost faster

How do you suck up ghosts so fast is it bc of different game versions?

Idk if there's a difference in game versions but playing on hidden mansion makes ghosts take damage faster. You can tell they're playing on hidden mansion from the star next to the Gameboy.

⁠​⁠@@beanman3413no difference in game versions, he’s just really good at it, hidden mansion makes the vacuum more powerful yes, but its him rapidly pulling multiple times in the opposite direction of the ghost is the ‘so fast’ that you’re talking about, its a skill you build with lotsss of practice

Yeah a 1:05 could definitely happen if more people are willing to take up the sitting room clip. Right now though there are so many 1 frame tricks in the route I wouldn't be surprised if 1:05 takes 3+ years. And if other runners continue without the skew 1:05 isn't viable at all. I'm done with doing runs at least until someone breaks this record so it'll almost certainly be a long time unless someone gets really serious about the new routing
