As a part of a private collection, this 1986 Saleen Mustang T-top was likely the first 1986 Saleen built with T tops. It's been fully restored and swapped to an automatic. As a father and son project this car had to be swapped to an automatic so both Mom and the oldest Son could drive it. Health conditions prohibit both the Mom and the Son from being able to drive a manual. Making it an auto was a must so that it allows the whole family to be involved, and believe me, this family is a CAR (specifically Mustang) family!
With just over 200 cars produced in 1986, this is a rare Foxbody Saleen "foureye" Mustang. Add in the T top option and you have one of a handful of 1986 Saleen's.
This car has been driven and been in shows with The World of Wheels and Ponies In The Smokies (PITS). During its time at PITS, the car went up and down The Tail of The Dragon multiple times and was enjoyed. This was AFTER the full restoration as you see it now.
