The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasised the importance of intention in a hadith when he said:
"Actions are judged by their intentions, and everyone will be rewarded according to their intentions." (Bukhari and Muslim)
Rectify your intention throughout your day!
For example before exercising your intention should be to look after the body Allah has given you. Getting in shape and looking good is a positive side effect.
Before going to work your intention to be to earn a halal income for the sake of Allah so you can provide for yourself and all of your family.

Thank you for the message. I used to be a Christian minister and missionary. I got slathered, sacrificed, and molested by Satan every day, starting in the first week after I accepted Christianity profoundly to do a mission and to fish for souls in mid-October 2006. Satan kidnapped me twice. I woke up at about 2-3 am and found a man behind me; he told me, "This is Jesus. Your God, savior, redeemer, and protector, I come to give you protection." God is supposed to be omnipresent. He visited me as a crocodile covered with all kinds of precious gems, including diamonds and gold; he also visited me as a lion, a snake about 50 feet long, and a dragon standing upright. I had a live conversation with him, a face-to-face interaction; everything was a live account. He attempted to kill me every day. He took me to his kingdom of darkness, but he couldn't kill me, or could he keep me there. All these things happened to me while I was a Christian minister, doing missions at least 3 times a month and fishing for souls. In August 2019, I realized that I was extremely close to vanishing because of Satan's plan to abduct my life. I called a Muslim lady whom I went to nursing school, I told her what had been happening to me as a Christian minister, and I told her to go to her God and plead for my life to rescue me. The lady said, "You send me to my God, I will go for you." 3 months later, on November 21, 2019, Allah, the omnipotent, rescued me. He sent me Islam, and I became a Muslim. I am alive, miraculously. At the end of October 2022, Allah, the most merciful, sent an angel to talk to me live; he gave a message to spread worldwide to all nations and told me to write a book about what I know about Christianity, what happened to me in Christianity and the message He sent to His nations. I told Allah to help me write the book because I am not a writer. At that very first moment, Allah guided me and helped me to write it. The book's name is BORN ON BLOOD SACRIFICES AND RESCUED BY ALMIGHTY GOD. It's very compelling and moving. There are 165 stories in it, and they are all true stories. I published it in English on Amazon in February 2024. A week before Ramadan of 2024, I asked Allah to help me translate the book into many languages to share with all the continents during Ramadan. On the first day of Ramadan, I returned to Allah and asked him again to help me translate the book and complete all the translations during the Ramadan observation. As I was praying, ideas were coming down into my heart. Soon I finished praying, I acted on them. Within two weeks, the book was translated into many other languages. The book is published in those languages, including Afrikaans, Arabic, Basque, Norwegian, Breton, Catalan, Chinese, Cornish, Danish, Corsican, Dutch/Flemish, Frisian, English, Finish, French, Galician, German, Gujarati, Hebrew, Hindi, Icelandic, Irish, Italian, Japanese, Latin, Luxembourgish, Marathi, Malayalam, Polish, Portuguese, Provencal, Romansh, Scots, Scottish Gaelic, Spanish, Tamil, Ukrainian, Welsh, Yiddish. I find this one really difficult to deal with. I'm autistic and chronically question myself to the point of paralysis. Every time I hear this I end up in a bad state as I have no way to prevent myself being one of them since no human intention can be perfectly pure. This is NEVER explained. I've heard it more times than I can count, but nobody is able to give me any way to understand it which isn't crippling. That must mean I don't understand it, but the problem remains the same if not stronger for that fact.

It's a story of arrogance and ego. Be kind for the sake of Allah. Be charitable for the sake of Allah and fight those that fight you for the sake of Allah.
