I agree these should be the first 3 things you teach any dog really not just huskies. You gave some awesome advise Sixty. Only thing I would have done different is as soon as the dog butt touches the ground release treat and say YES SIT. Yes is the positive marker and the Sit is naming the action. You can actually use any words in any language but I suggest to keep things simple. Positive markers are a very useful tool when teaching your dog wanted behaviors. And naming the actions teaches your dog how to really listen to you.

With my 6 month Alaskan Klee Kai, if i just say SIT. HE WILL STAY! IF he gets to close to someone or the Door, " Back up". Got it quick. They learn fast. Some things I was trying to teach him, he wouldn't do. Then when unexpected, he started doing it. When you pick your puppy: hold him up in front of your face, eye to eye contact. If he looks you in the Eye, great personality that will listen and bond with you. If the puppy refuses to look you in the eye, turning his head from side to side. He has a stubborn temperament, hard to train. Good Luck.

We love sixty formula..Britney spears reminds me of our 8 year old husky that past away from a cancer tumor on his heart on may 11th 2020..but now we have a new siberian pup named (2nd chance) he is now 5months old ..we got him at 4wks old..now we are starting to teach him..he knows how to sit very well..now we can teach him the (stay,and come)thanks sixty formula for the great advice 😃

,wish I'd got a malamute instead of a Siberian .he's now 9 months and can be really nasty to me ..He can attach me and draw blood .But he doesn't do it to my husband why .we've had him since he was 8 weeks old .our old malamute was so good .but died last November 2021.any help please

They’re informative, constructive and very fun (so my daughter enjoy watching them with me) We recently adopted our little husky girl (Bindi). We were told at the time of adopting that she was 6wks old but learnt a couple days later that she was just 4 wks (which was way too young to be removed from her mum) We have been working with our vet to provide her with the best nutrients we can and we hope that our other doggie can provide some of the interactions that she will undoubtedly need. Your videos have been and continue to be such an incredible help. For now, she sleeps mostly, eat, play, poop - and sleep! Continue making your wonderful (and life saving) videos! I learnt the other day, finnaly. It's not natural for dogs to come to you when facing them. That's why we have to teach them this way. The natural way is you turn away and start walking. They follow. Saved me twice when the lead sliped out of my hand with my young Husky, an another when the collar slipped off (She pulled back, being spooked by screaming happy kids, that startled her).

Probably an obvious answer to this question, but... do you always train one command at a time? Never trying to implement multiple during training? Only move on to the next once one is learned? Thanks! Great video... again

It depends if your dog is not proficient at a trick then yes, focus on one at a time. But if your dog is a master at many tricks you can implement multiple tricks into one meaning you will have to have them do many tricks one after another.
