Unfortunately, I couldn't show you land destruction. But, technically, it is - 5 Field of Ruin + Assassin's Trophy + Shigeki. We could make this deck inifnite, if we added one copy Turn the Earth. The only one thing that I doubted was The End. I love that spell, but I think Deadly Cover-up is more versatile. Even playing against Mill, all we'll need to do is to play Deadly Cover-up and exile Jace. So I think that having addition Duress would be much better. You know what I mean. Play Duress, then Deadly. 14:34 Super intensive match.

If you make him discard a land you can search their library for that basic with Deadly cover up and take them all

I've tried this deck but unfortunately it works best against mono color decks which I rarely played against and when I did I couldn't get a basic land in the graveyard first before I was forced to play Deadly Cover-up 😵

I'm glad that i not only one who thinked about Assasin Trophy + Cover-Up interaction from day they got introduced, but you need mill spell to yourself and your opponent + green enchant that return land to board at upkeep

If destroying like 4 lands between all matches is a "land destruction" deck, you are lost.

Have you been able to find any kind of home for undergrowth recon? I'm really interested in this card for having a lot of the same energy as arcane bombardment, but that might also include unplayability. Other than "bad", what kind of deck wants this? Is infinite reuse of lands with sac abilities good enough? A control deck that runs heavy green perhaps?

Typically you use fewer of a card you want to draw later in the game. One of's are edge cases, something you don't need every game but it's nice to have the option of drawing it in a game it's needed

i really thought that the orzhov lifegain deck had a shot if they activated Gix for 4 cards off the top of your library. wonder if they missed that line. maybe could even work on decking you out as an alt win con?
