@@hannahbaker3080 Blessings to you. I also found St. Athanasius, and Polycarp to be especially inspiring in my reversion to the Catholic Church.

@@savestheday6648 I haven’t read much of them yet, this work and the Didache is what did it for me

These books are blowing my mind and really causing me to pray and seek. I am right now a Torah pursuant believer of Messiah, more Messianic than anything but these writings blow my current understanding to bits.

@@paddydobbs2318 Catholic and Orthodox are both Biblical ancient churches first and foremost. They both follow lines of Apostolic procession. The Roman Catholics, I would consider my line as it follows my families ancestors. Thus fitting, I find myself more naturally drawn to the Latin rite of the faith and it's Saints. A good piece of advice I heard for those feeling drawn to the Church, but not sure which one be it Orthodox or Catholic. Is to pray to Saints from both Churches, and see if you can get confirmation that way. But most importantly you are called to attend Church. So be practical in your search and decision as to not hinder yourself. The Eucharist is the source and summit of our faith, it's not the rite or the Church we attend. God Bless you, I'm excited for you in your journey 👍🙏
