Most villains lose this way. They go too far. Farther than they can reach. For this one, the consequences were bad but highly appropriate. Gruenwald was a master storyteller.

oh wow, the movie did do some or so justice to the comic, i like the 2 antman movies, i dont get why some people hate the 2nd one, it was action packed

Almost a 1-to-1 adaptation. Only differences are where Scott broke into, what(or rather who) he was trying to take, Cross' appearance and motivation, the absence of Cassie's heart condition, and the Hank's involvement being revealed later.

Early on Scott constantly made movie references. It was pretty annoying actually. I do like all the size changing characters if they can make them interesting. Maybe do Atlas next? He was Power Man, and has a connection to Wonder Man, and to both Baron Zemos. And the Fixer and so on.
