I'm loving how companies are competing to make a good Souls game like the king's FromSoftware. My only complaint from what I seen from this game the mission complete thing on the screen. I wish they would've just made it more seamless because that's also what makes FromSoftware amazing with their Soul's games.

the original game DNF/DFO where it is from is kinda a wacky 2005 side scroller mmo with Khazan being the origin of the entire Slayer class in the game being more based on Guilty Gear funny enough in design originally

This isn't a Soulslike. This is a Niohlike--a hybrid of the basic Souls systems with ARPG loot mechanics and a standalone mission structure.

on a side note, the first 30 seconds of this video perfectly summarizes why The Last of Us Part 2 was NOT a good story and was indeed a trash revenge plot. didn't think that point would be proven once again in a First Berzerker Khazan video lol. inb4 all the triggered wokies come with their "yOu DiDnT uNdErStAnD tHe StOrY" or "yOu LaCk mEdIa LiTeRaCy" or "tHe StOrY wAs AbOuT GrIeF aNd FoRgIvEnEsS" and this and that.... blah blah blah. miss me with your made up fake pretentious headcanon if you"re thinking about reponding. TLOUP2 was not deep and didn't have any sort of deep thematic messaging that fans like to convince themselves of and that was never the intention of the writers. it's fake head canon by pretentious folk. it's a shallow and terrible executed revenge plot and was marketed as exactly that by the devs. anywho that was my tangent - this game looks really cool and from the sounds of it, looks like a proper revenge plot based on the first 30 seconds
