another interesting part of the story is the alliances Abraham formed with peoples/tribes around *Gen **14:13* _Mamre the Amorite, brother of Eshcol, and brother of Aner: and these were confederate with Abram._ it seems that Abraham had cultivated good relationships with people around him to point that they respected him and he could call upon them in times of crisis

This story from the Bible reinforces that no one, let me say that again, no one, can go against the will of God. What God has given to you will be yours regardless of how many others will try to take it from you. Thus, shows how great God is and all powerful. Further, Abram's faith was so great that he knew God would be with him, should he be selfless and action on righteousness. Can someone remember a time, that one would do something to help others and you can feel God leading your way. I remember once, without getting into personal details, I was having coffee at starbucks and someone was ill, that I took her to the hospital and also pray for her when we got there. She returned home feeling much better a short time after.

Ricca Day i agree with you, War is the opposite of Peace and Freedom Therefore without the concept of War, there will be no concept of Peace War literally reminds you of Peace because that is what it is not, when something negative happens, people hope for the best And war is not always a bad thing if the goal behind it, is to be free or to create peace To go to battle with your demons is to attempt to free yourself from that pain and that is peace within yourself To battle an oppressive enemy is to attempt to achieve freedom and peace Because let’s be real, not everyone can get behind that “Lets hold hands” mentality, and thats why I agree with you I appreciate Freedom and Peace because i personally don’t have to fight an enemy unless I choose to I appreciate freedom and peace because that is a far more better outcome than war

Been studying the Bible for a few years and passages like these stumped me in their logic but I think you've done a beautiful jib explaining it. I almost feel like even if this was perhaps embellished to make The father of the faith seem more courageous like you argue that the story can be used as a symbol for how a godly man like Abram choses to be faithful to God even while having to deal with the sea of corruption around him. He gives us the "better" portion of the land while Lot choses what seems like the better portion but who puts himself in harms way by colluding with Sodom. Its almost like Sodom represent the wrong path that seems more comfy and wonderful "the wide path that leads to destruction" while Abram choses Salem (and Melchizedek who some scholars believe is a pre-incarnate Christ/Messiah figure. Great summary!

Thanks for the video. As I can see in this situation Abraham didn’t receive the gifts from the king because in his eyes it wasn’t from God. Since God didn’t command it it was not something he had to. In our eyes it seemed to be a noble deed. He did this deed by his own will not by God’s will. In the case of Pharaoh, God sent him there and he received gifts. Although, the gifts did come from pharaoh, it was God that sent him that way. There’s a Big difference.

Also it's most likely a local uprising that got settled shortly afterwards (Elam which was a veritable country at the time and was one up until Sennacherib destroyed it, at the lead with most likely Sumerians/Akkadians/Babylonians and a confederation of nations backing it up; against five small cities st the southern tip of the Dead Sea which will be destroyed anyways afterwards), so mostly of no consequence for the losing party anyway to even put it on their records.

Well Abrihams lack of faith that his god could keep him safe worked out well for him. Especially as others who doubted him had family and friends killed etc. How sad people think this stuff is a good example. He's a priest of a god that didn't exist before then as far as anyone knew. Yhea OK. That's because it didn't actually happen none of it. Oh and he was OK with taking everything from the king of Egypt and him later saying he made Abriham but not this later one. I guess he was already loaded by then anyway. Wisdom?

I think Abraham was one of Gods best warriors.... But, I wonder why the first battle was of sin, to cause a war on citizens and to hold them hostage. It might be the King, and or the Priest who showed unfaithfulness, defiance and arrogant to Gods Will. Or could it be there's always an upset when a King and or Priest have to live poor....? 😐

Heat prayed all the time every little detail and every little thing is not always written down but he prayed constantly, there's no way that he took that long journey and not pray to the Father...... He most likely prayed the whole time

You do know it's a mistranslation don't you and Nephilim doesn't actually mean giants. It's been changed from version to version and the English one ended with giants so you believe it's true because of a mistake.

🤺☦🇷🇺Wrong. "Authors of the bible"?? The 5 books of Moses were written by God! Hегetics! Here is the serious correct and accurate analysis of the holy verses: ✅Tishdal or Tishatal the Hurrians from Zagros & Urkesh = Tidal / Goyim = Gutium ✅Epirmupil = Amrapel / Shinar = Sumer (also ensi of Elam, subordinate of Zimri Lim) ❓Rim Sin I (Eriaku) or Arvilukpi of Marhasi (c. 2050 BC contemporary with Amar-Sin king of Ur) = Arioch / Ellasar = Isin-Larsa-Eshnnuna (or a ruler of Alishar Huyuk, Pontus, Dilmun, Meluhha or Magan) ✅Canaanite priest of the Jebusites = Malchizedek ❓Kudu-Lagamar = Chedorlaomer (unknown Maharsi ruler of Elamites?)
