I grew up playing Skittle Bowl. The string was on the ball instead of the pins!

My biggest complaint about string pins is after my alley eventually converts to them I’m going to hear every league bowler complaining with “that would have carried on free fall” every time they leave a corner pin

All this complaining from people.. its what it is. The only reason I bowl on them now is to try and break a pin off the string.

Do you know how often they change out the pin positions to reduce wear and tear on the front pins? I've asked on other videos nobody has responded.

Not sure. I heard every few weeks but it’s going to vary depending on the center. Some may never change them out

No thanks. I just got off the MSC Magnifica this month and I thought it had regular lanes. After eating, finding it was the first place I went. Realized it was a Qubica lane like at the HOF. If I want string pins, I'll bowl duckpins.

I just quit bowling after 40 years of bowling. I don't have alternatives anymore in Germany. We have the highest energycosts in Germany worldwide thanks to our government. The proprietors are forced to do stringpins or they will all have to close soon. Stringpins is not bowling for me!
