@@S0ur Playing on veteran requires you to have a faster mouse sight and it requires team work meaning stay in cover and use the Mp40 and Kar98 you will never run out of ammo as this are the two most common weapons in the game there is no health regen. You need to hit the crouch and you can stick your head out all the time because you will die and the health will not regenerate. It requires you to use tactics and brains, and you need to be Tactical about it I just know a tip of beating the Veteran for any fps as for modern warfare or any other fps game such as battlefield use the Ak or whatever two main weapons the enemy is using you never run out of ammo that way, but you can use your own weapons until you run out. But in modern versions like Battlefield etc there is an advantage in having an Smg and Assault or two assault rifles. The advantage is Tactical you will always loot enemy ammo especially if you go pass the enemies once you and the team are done shooting them. You can't run and gun and be a moron because higher difficulty punishes you for it. Actually if you employ aiming down the sight slowly moving shoting from the heap the moment you spot the enemy and then take down the sight and focus on the second enemy. Use two assault rifles in Advanced warfare it works too the advantage of this you don't run out of ammo. Also keep reloading every time you hit the cover don't wait untill you run out put suppressing fire shot them in the legs by using a single tap and do it multiple times. If the enemy starts shooting at you just hold the fire button aim for the chest chance is you could be wounded and he can be dead empty the clip or if you are out you switch to the next assault rifle aim down the sight and shot him in the head stay in cover untill you completely recover.

As someone who logged in likely over a thousand hours in CODUO multiplayer, just thought I'd way in on your MP44 comment about an hour in the vid. MP44 was a true multiplayer beast in this game. Great close range, great long range (very tight crosshairs so you didn't have to ADS to fire it effectively even at bigger distances). Best fully auto weapon in the game by far. It was closely followed by the BAR which had the highest weapon damage among automatic rifles and the tightest prone crosshairs off all weapons in game (back then people were still kinda getting used to ADS and alot of players would just hipfire/pronefire across the map lol). Even with that, the iron sights on it were very effective and useful, so that was the most ADS'd weapon in the game. Big issue with it were it's 20 round mags which made it inferior for prolonged engagements. British Bren was ok but had weird sights which some loved but others hated. I was somewhere in between, had some good games using it. It did feel inferior to the two guns mentioned above and was best used as an ADS spray and pray weapon. Thompson/Russian PPSH were a great choice for smaller close quarter maps, having superb rate of fire and great damage. The main issue with these were the wide hipfire/prone crosshairs and bad iron sights which made said guns easily outmatched long range (and most popular CodUO maps had multiple key long range fight lanes). Other automatic guns I remember are the Sten gun and the MP40, which both were subpar when compared to the guns mentioned above. CODUO multiplayer was truly something else man. It was one of the first titles that had sprinting, ADS, a rudimentary form of killstreaks (every 10 kills you'd get a rank up which gave you more gun amo, more grenades, satchel charges, binoculars, and at 40+ kills you'd get the ability to summon artillery strikes on the map). It was just such a fun game to play. Props to you for fighting through the single player on veteran and cheers for the nostalgia hit

In the base campaign they always took 1 shot to destroy either from tank, 88 or panzerfaust while in UO they take 3 at avarage and at most outside some special ones. Also easy way to do the station battle is to use the left quad gun, it can kill planes and tanks fairly fast and AOE damages trash mobs while shielding you fairly well, you can pretty much do the fight in one go with it and if you know where teh health is.

Having the end of the mission give you a freecam flyby of the mission with quotes going almost like a propaganda movie is really cool. In a modern game they could even have it actually record your motions so you get a unique video at the end, would be super cool to see. Like imagine the freecam view of Roach breaching rooms on the oil rig or Ramirez pushing up the street alongside Honey Badger in MW2. Would be super cool. I guess the closest you get to 'realistic' non-first person of the soldier views are the AC-130 missions, but the up-close freecam is way cooler. Maybe I'm just nostalgic for the black ops theater mode.

I also finished this one on veteran. For some reason I really struggeled on the Foy bridge area more than Kaherkov.

Tips for foy(bridge section): you can rush the bridge to completely stop anything from spawning in but you have to rush before the Sherman gets destroyed by the tiger. I actually discovered it after multiple attempts of trying to cross that goddamn bridge, it won't stop the German troops from spawning inside the barn though.

the enemies spawning less and less in the mission Foy might be on purpose, a common tactic these games use to ease up on the player is every time you die when you reload the checkpoint theyll remove some enemies or slightly tone down their aggressiveness so that you dont get too stuck (usually its subtle enough that you dont notice but its possible it was a little too heavy on that checkpoint)

I think the bomber gunner mission is my favorite mission in all of gaming. I love it so much

As a german, that's why I love playing games like the WW2 CoDs or Wolfenstein in English. Wouldn't make sense to have everybody already speak german all the time, and just suddenly they struggle to form a sentence. But to actually make them speak a different language, is much more immersive.

I couldn’t even begin to tell you how many hours I sank into the UO multiplayer. BBD clan! Still remember Primo Victoria playing on the clan website, my mum hearing it and thinking I had joined a cult.
