easily my fav title, used to play this on 360, and it , along with Oblivion (the theme is all too familiar, very close to Morrowind's music) was my FIRST game to have DLC and also online, along with Halo 2. I much preferred playing this online since it included vehicles, and many classes, just like BF BC one and two would have. Good times, and I was looking for a game to bring me back and this is the one I found. Glad you played it on Veteran difficulty. As a kid, I always wanted to play this game competitively, but there was not much point since there was a bunch of kids (myself included) but yea I was really sold on the setting, the the DLC and the graphics. I wasn't a huge fan of the older moH Frontlines, but this game had me hoooked for a long while. Cheers BY THE WAY: This is what CoD4 came from, we were SO excited to play that! I can see why they cookie cutter'd the rest of the series, and I stopped after MW2 but still, CoD4 was a huge success, like striking GOLD. Sad that money pushed them to make basically the same crappy game over and over, but im not a kid anymore so I dont need to understand it anyways. I got to play the beta for CoD4 , THAT was a fond memory yo, that glitch during st lo....we would go to the factory map in multiplayer, glitch OUT of the map, and in certain spots, we would throw smoke gernades and they would change colors . We could also shoot players from inside this glitch and they would be clueless..unless they too knew the glitch. I totally forgot these memories until I saw you turn green for a split second and I remembered....THANKS for makin this

I adore how you are with one squad from beginning to end. You see their demeanor change. Even how they look. They start off clean, and filthy with beards and stubbles. When one of them dies or is wounded, you care. Vic's death was felt as the banter changed. Hawkins "dying" leaves the squad feeling hollow, and the last few missions are the same (I think by design). Then the final mission ends just like any other mission, which I think is underwhelming, but deliberately so. Time to move on. This game is a masterpiece.

Just taking a moment to appreciate how you played through Breaking Point without actually getting the resupply so you went without smoke grenades and without ammo for your american weapons.

I think one of the biggest issues with the campaign is that the entire story isn't in the campaign. As someone who wouldn't bother paying for these because of the dramatic drop in quality, the fact that going from the campaign of Modern Warfare > Modern Warfare II > Modern Warfare III makes *no sense* without the 'season' content, that's just a bad sign IMO.

I did world at war veteran with a friend and if you or your friend dies the entire thing restart and it’s so much pain we did this on Xbox and the most amount of grenades I counted getting thrown at me was 27

Multiplayer was awesome back in the day. Remember AGD ,So-Cal. ,MM ,GDIC I was in AGD only a handful of servers up these days. Running the 1.5 patch I'm sure there's more not running the patch. I still have united offensive installed and jump in a server once in a while. Best game ever 😊

I actually found this veteran campaign to be easy, sure Kowloon was kind of annoying and there's always a difficulty spike in Khe Sanh when I forget I'm supposed to kick the yellow barrels but otherwise I found it perfectly fine. Now what is actually a challenge is beating Zork in BO1.
