A lexicological comment regarding siblings according to the etymology of Ancient Greek: People having only a common father (but not a common mother) are called "ΟΜΟΠΑΤΡΙΟΙ" (originating from the same father) while people having a common mother (no matter whether they have a common father or not) are called "ΑΔΕΛΦΟΙ" (originating from the same womb) because the word "ΑΔΕΛΦΟΙ" is a compound word: "Α" (plus) and "ΔΕΛΦΥΣ" (womb). Not to be confused with "ΔΕΛΦΙΣ" (dolphin). Also, the Christians are called "ΑΔΕΛΦΟΙ" (brothers and sisters) because they all come from the same spiritual womb, which is the font in which they are baptised.

Hello dear friend. Thank you for this fascinating lesson. How is your recovery going? I hope everything is better. By the way, "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger" is a phrase by Nietzsche and is totally wrong of course.

Thank you. My recovery is progressing. I had surgery in mid-December. It was the removal of a cancerous tumor. I might need radiation therapy down the road. If so, then I'll face that when it comes. Thanks so much for your prayers. I received a very good report that the tumor was localized and not anywhere. I'll keep everyone updated while on medical leave.
