Yes Billy Japan!!! Fishing mecca of the world !!! They have boats out there that can drop you off on these small rock islands thats home to some huge fish !!! Ive seen videos of guys catching massive tuna and cuberian snapper off these rock islands !!!! Cant wait for you next upload!!! Lets go !!!

Whilst in Japan, if you get the chance, go visit the Sealife Centre in Tokyo. They have a round donut shaped tank and the Tuna swim around it at great speed and then swim upwards and launch themselves out of the water to eat fish offerings. Amazing to see. I also got up early to visit the Tokyo fish market. A chance to see so many fish that we don't see in Europe.

Hey Billy, give us a wave, I'm over the other side of the Pacific Ocean on the Oregon coast . We have what's called California halibut, a lot smaller than Pacific Halibut but more tasty. Also petrale sole which grow to around 20lbs but normally in the 6-12 lb range. Not to sure if you'll find them or not. Generally I get them out on my boat whilst Pacific Halibut fishing. Have fun, by the way we've got thousands of tons of driftwood on our beaches from a couple of months of storms. It makes that little bit you first showed us look more like firewood.

I have been wondering about what was coming next for you. I see that you are safe and well mate. And long may it last..as you are aware of the Japanese build some of the best fishing gear that money can buy. Anyway billy keep putting out your stunning videos..as they are gratefully received by a lot of people who will never have the chance to visit locations you portrayed in your videos. For this I would like to thank you.. Unfortunately Japan .like many countries they have all but wiped out their fish stocks. Through over fishing.. Dear Billy I have just returned from attending a funeral of a very close friend who returned home to Dublin many years ago I would like to tell you about one of his favourite sayings. Always look at tomorrow as a very good day..then you will realise that all your bad days have long gone.... After talking to his family I found nothing had changed . He made people around him laugh . just as he had in the past. They must have thought that I was loosing it on the plane back to the UK. Because I could not help the huge grin on my face . remembering what he had said and done over the year's. Anyway Billy that's enough of this old mans memories..you have your own to make... In '65 I crossed the Pacific on a troop ship with 2500 GI's to Viet Nam. On the way home, the plane refueled in Japan. That Fuji is big.
