The First Descendant: How to read the Reactor Cards (see desc for more details)

The audience for this video is people playing on normal. If you're in a hurry, scanning for one that has all green in the skill power when equipped line will work for you. However, if you want the best you can find at the time, look for a card where your descendant is able to check BOTH Skill Power Boost Ration choices. That'll up the Skill Power when equipped numbers even higher.
By default, you'll get 100% of the Skill Power values. However, you can get 140% of the skill power of a reactor card by simply have the gun listed in the optimization section in one of your 3 weapon slots.
The lowest "Skill Power when equipped" will be your Descendant's base skill power on the main inventory screen.
Edit: I've now seen a card where Optimization Condition said Thunder Cage mounting. This means the gun has to be in the first slot in order to get the bonus. So if it says another weapon and it's one you use, put it in the first slot to get the bonus.
Edit: I didn't know much about the bottom at the time, but don't discount the bonuses at the bottom. If you have two cards with comparative values, take the bottom boosts into account, like additional skill ATK against a specific faction. Don't discount these!

Great explanation. Only question is what does the second word mean in the name of each? There’s phase, mixture, singularity and mechanics (may be more but those are the ones I’ve seen).

You answered all my questions ,Now the question is How did you figured all this out lol. I got lvl 100 ult reactors but no ult guns so am actually probably better with the purple ones for now .

Not that i've noticed. Honestly, when i sort through everything at the end of a quest I pay the most attention to the skill power when equipped line. The starting skill power (top) may be less than others, but due to the potential buffs in the middle, the skill power when equipped can end up being higher. I had a lower level one equipped for a long time because i qualified for the optimization condition and BOTH boosts. So it carried me for a while but the level overall was lower. So short answer is no 😄

What is Sub Attack Power though???

Sub Attack Power is the L1/R1 attack on playstation. On xbox it's the bumpers too. Not sure about PC. It's the melee attack. And you're right, I didn't address it at all because i never use it, haha. Sorry.
