I like him, the crowd control and aeo dmg he have is really good, im using the chip that changes overload to boost wpn damage with alot of cd chips and grenade is up all the time

Why is (most all) gameplay showcasing point defense or “horde” mode only? Is that all there is to it?

This is a story mission. Mid mission you have to defend a point. That is the game: you go around the map doing 3-4 missions per area which have points where you defend against a horde for a while. In between these points you have to move around, kill enemies and platform. Sometimes you get bosses and mini bosses. It's just like destiny with a lot of Warframe systems, like the way you level up, the modules to put on guns and character, the 4 skills the characters have, the way you build guns and characters by using materials to build individual parts of and then a blueprint. In the beta it takes around 4-12 hours for part and 12 hours for the finished character or gun, WAY faster than Warframe where each part of a gun takes 12 hours and the final gun 24 hours, while the Warframe parts take 24 hours and 3 days for the final blueprint. The game is really fun and fast but simple, kinda like year 3 of Warframe. It's super addicting as well, just like the games it's copying...I don't play much, around 1-2 hours a day and in this dumb game I had 19 hours in 2 days. Had to take a pause yesterday and didn't play at all cuz I was falling into the cycle again like with warframe, farming bosses and stuff to level up modules (just like in Warframe it takes a literal fuckton of resources to level up the mods). There are a bunch of standalone bosses to farm resources to craft stuff and I got stuck on one because it's reliant on teamwork and you gotta destroy 4 pylons inside a defensive bubble very quickly otherwise he heals up completely in 40 seconds, while he bombards all 4 with toxic bombs at the same time. If teammates don't go to their pylons and destroy them quickly, you will never kill him. I had the luck of having a bunch of incompetent idiots that can't do that so the boss would just heal up every time he enrages. The bosses are actually pretty fun as they have various weak points, unique gimmicks, parts to destroy for more loot (which when damaged enough can be grappled to and destroyed, causing a stun. Like it's monster hunter, both for stuns and the extra loot for damaged parts). Overall I'm very impressed. The game has great graphics and the gameplay is really fast and fluid. The characters abilities are a bit underwhelming compared to Warframe, they are more like destiny abilities, where the guns are the main damage and abilities are more of an extra. Except bunny, which is basically volt. And gley, which works completely different as she uses HP for abilities and enters a berserk state with abilities having different effects based on her state. Guns and other equipment are more like outriders, where you have the same guns but different rarities that give extra passive stat boosts based on rarity. But you also have ultimate/exotic guns that are unique and have unique abilities, like I have a submachine gun that makes killed enemies explode dealing electric damage, a handgun that debuffs enemies by 30%, a machine gun that makes enemies weak to fire while giving some other buffs. Not too crazy effects sadly.

Played the game, I'll pass for now. I know it's beta. But the game play is hmmmm a bit lame. I'll wait for the final game when it comes out. And reviews. 😊😊
