This is a great game btw, been hooked on it for days with a mate. I got Gley but been a headache at first trying to work her out, but now I know how she works it's great

Your frametime looks relatively stable. I don't think spikes between 25-30ish matter. It is a little high though for 40 FPS. I think you'd typically want 60-70fps with that frametime.

It still had some pretty big stutters that i felt when playing the game unfortunately

There'll be a yellow piece to grapple onto so you can do a big hit and bring the thing down for a bit on the later dungeon bosses in between maps. It's a short window to do so and it's sometimes difficult to see as they're all towering

i know the standard is to use ultra settings during benchmarks, but 120 native with minor adjustments... and 240+ with low settings and dlss

you wouldn't be hitting 120 with minor adjustments. You would need everything low settings pretty much to hit that. Just had a look now and at 4k native with ray tracing off and everything set to low the average is 120-130fps

Why do we pay over £1000 for a 4K GPU that can't even play native 4K at above 60fps? I use my 4080 super at 1440p for this very reason but I honestly believe the GPU is not worth £1000+ considering a console can output upscaled 4K 30-60 for less than £500. Is it better than console? By a long shot. But it's not worth £1000+. It's still a great GPU but id argue it's more of a 1440p GPU (with high framerates). Even at 1440p on this game I have to use Quality DLSS with frame generation to get 100+ fps (without frame generation it's more like 70+ FPS and that's still relying on Quality DLSS).

Its fine at a 5.6 clock so im just going to leave it at that. Probably upgrade to the next amd 3d cpus so no point in me spending time sending the intel back now

This game´s performance is very console like. I feel like UT engine is very console oriented.. RTX is alot a PC thing (i think), this game seems to have RTX just so NVidia gamers have something to go for:) I wonder how AMD GPU would do in this game, if the RTX performance will not tank the frame rate so much?

Not sure what you mean. AMD has RTX as well. RTX is another word for ray tracing. AMD can run that but generally AMD performs worse with ray tracing compared to Nvidia

I'm getting more with FG than this 4080 S as well with Ultra ray tracing and FSR quality on my 7900XTX I saw another video with just DLSS quality without FG and wasn't impressed I expected Nvidia's 4080 to be better than this I expect AMD to have a lower FPS with RT but not to be almost the same when all the RT hype is with Nvidia 4090 is the only GPU really that can always run it how i'd want it

@@spicey6103 what metric are you using to suggest that no one cares about ray tracing though? It's one of the most searched terms on my channel. That would suggest there is a fair amount of interest in it

​@@BenchmarkBoy the visual improvement isnt anything that noticable and you really only get playable framerate at gpus over 1k and even then it makes you get 2x lower the frames
