The difference in manga and anime is most apparent with Szayel. In the manga his resurreccion is more in the line of rape, his rebirth from Nemu is (graphic) actually first impregnating her, then he comes out stealing her "life-force" making her look like bulimic and sucked dry. What I got from the translation was Szayel could already see hollows when he was alive as well as he remained an arrancar after splitting his soul he was just wounded greatly and would need a lot of time to recover? Could someone please explain to me, how long was it from when Aizen left soul society till when Orihime was kidnapped for Ichigo and co to invade Hueco Mundo. In some places I read, it seems to be a really long time, like years, but in the anime, it felt like maybe a year or two at most. And in this video, it was mentioned Szayelaporro left the Espada and rejoined later, that would have taken a while to happen. Second question, so the Espada existed before Aizen came along?

Aizen recruited the espadas long before he got his hands on the hogyoku... They were turned into arrancars after Aizen defected from the soul society... Which means, back then there were no arrancars (other than Ulquiorra and Stark)... I'm not sure though 😬

If a Quincy defeats a hollow, the soul is destroyed. This is the trait passed down by Yhwach to all Quincy. Ichigo is a special case since he wields a Zanpakuto. He instead cleanses souls and returns them to the cycle of rebirth.

@@maximilianosanchez1106 if a hollow gets killed by a shinigami (soul reaper) using their zanpaktou the hollow will be purified and sent to soul society (heaven), however if the hollow committed lots of sins while he was still human instead of being sent to soul society the gates of hell will open up and take him there instead, quincies (humans that use bows and arrows) show no mercy to hollows because the have high spiritual pressure and hollows are drawn to them and kill many of their fellow quincys so when they kill hollows instead of going to heaven their arrows completely destroy the soul of the hollows. This affects the balance of souls in the real word, the hollow world (hueco Mundo) and the soul society. If the quincies kept on destroying hollows and the imbalance created is large enough all three dimensions will merge (very bad for business) so the soul reapers tried numerous times to convince them to stop destroying hollows but they refused and eventually the order to exterminate all quincies was passed by souls societies government (central 46).
