23:40 "She's from a different realm." No. Mordred confirmed in this episode that she was from his own realm. Her original was from another realm. Based on the flashback we got, the Cult spliced Aurora, a normal human girl, with blood from something from another realm they were able to capture, turning her into the demon lord Diabolos. This made her first generation. The three heroes of legend were spliced with Aurora's blood, making them second generation. While they may have been weaker they were easier to control. Diabolos and the three heroes were all female but the Cult rewrote history to turn them into men. That is why Diabolos is often referred to with male pronouns despite being a woman. From what little I've seen of her in her demon form, it is hard to tell her gender. Women are more compatible with the bloodline for some reason and the Cult has put a lot of effort into making drugs from this that males can use, like those pills they take now and then.

This show always knows how to outdo itself with the spectacles, and this finale was no exception! You cut up your giant monster with threads, take its summoner into space and then blow him up with a super space nuke. 10/10, I've never seen anything like this before in any other anime.

After one season and half of the second, I finally can say THE PLOT DROP IN THIS SHOW BROOO LESGOOOO 23:28 Is not a spoiler about Aurora tho. It was literally explained in this episode 9:02 that Diablos/Aurora was fabricated, by using a creature from another world (that ugly ass big goblin). So Aurora technically is originally from the world that she is now and not from another realm. And we also know from Aurora itself that the vampires kinda descend from her. As Aurora made it clear when she was fighting the Vampire Queen, that blood technique comes from Aurora itself and if I recall correctly, they were experiments too. Many things were created based on Diablos, even the hero Olivier and the elves bloodline. There is a lot of explanation about this in the Sanctuary arc and none are spoilers.

One thing I absolutely love about this show is the subtle way it provides backstory and depth. In S1 E1, I noticed it right away with his wrist weights, and heavy duffle bag. But neither of those things were ever spoken about or mentioned by any of the characters. Anyway, I just appreciate the way the story is told. I also like how they made this finale unpredictable in a very big way. Even manga readers were caught off guard. BTW, in other news: they announced a movie recently.

What's fun here is the mathematical timeline... Nishino in her twenties would mean Cid died 2-3 years ago but reincarnated as a baby 17 years further in the past (a moment where the 2 realms touched perhaps) in the other world. Now the 2 worlds touched again and Cid can go the the world of his previous life... a little Different from the manga but still very cool.

Since you asked for anime recommendations for next season: Solo Leveling has the most hype, so I'd recommend that for the view count (the story itself is fine for the first season at least); Delicious in Dungeon is also getting a lot of hype, even though it's a cooking show, so it'd probably be very fun to watch; Metallic Rouge is an anime-original, so we don't know a whole lot, but it looks like it'd be interesting - sci-fi version of Lycoris Recoil maybe??

oh man i just read the manga and the way shadow enter his "original world' imo is vastly better in the anime vs in the manga. unless i misremember it lol. honestly, the anime just add like cocaine to the manga
