What I really love about this series is that the Lore of the world is actually really good. We have the backstory and history of a world that goes deep, and is very fascinating. It's just that our focus is on the guy who pays no attention to it, and is obsessed with being the cool guy in the shadows. The rest of the world has no idea what role Shadow Garden plays in the world, but Shadow just loves the performance.

1:42:00 I love how the reason Shadow is down there for rose to discover is just to look insanely cool. He stole a piano, brought it to some underground ruins, placed it so it had tons of feathers and light in just the perfect way for his appearance, and played the Moonlight Sonata for rose to discover in full glory.
