I watched her in other races she usually comes from the rear and rips up the stretch. She can actually run from any position but she does like running from the rear. Go check her out in other races. Sorry, don't have my compass handy.. but if you watch any dirt racing you would know that it's not unusual for horses to race wide and out of the kickback...why do you think his jockey put him there, when he had the chance in the early stages to cross to the rail...and considering there was only one turn- you don't cover extra ground in a straight line, right? Are you now prepared to concede that Benbatl is a G1 horse , having placed behind horses with 8 dirt-G1 wins between them, and beating 7 individual G1 winners, and four-time G1 placed Tacitus, in the richest race ever run, with the best dirt horses in the world, in only his second start on the surface?

J Moran Clearly he's a better horse on dirt than turf. Still a five time failure on turf at G1 level in England. That's not one anomalous bad run, it's 5 failures. Not even placed. Not one or two bad runs, five times. 100% failure rate. That's the facts as they stand. If he travels to the USA and can win the biggest dirt races there then maybe he is. But he still didn't win this race despite having every chance. If you call just scraping into a place by edging out a horse who had a much harder run a real G1 horse then I suppose he is. He's a G1 horse in second tier racing jurisdictions. Maybe he would be on dirt if he can back it up in the USA, the home of dirt racing.

All Max needed was a performance enhancing drug that there was no test for yet. It was known since June 2019 that he was doped his entire career up to that point. Jason servis would be in prison now , but his trial has been delayed due to the coronavirus.

She made a lot of ground...she was running twenty legs behind Max.....and without being drugged by the trainer.......unlike Max.
