"Local man leaves friends to die of dehydration while gambling for Gun Runner goodies." What a fun run (well, two). Seeing you flop around randomly was a good time. That's exactly how these old games go sometimes but that's half the fun. It's cool that you actually got the "convince The Master to destroy himself" ending though. That's one of my favourite things about FO1: No "100 Speech/10 Charisma" option, no "it just works"; just you needing to actually have the proper information (in character) and using it to make logical arguments to show the villain why his plan is doomed. It's a unique feeling that newer games could really learn from. Glad you enjoyed the game (overall). Looking forward to you eventually trying #2. F in the chat for Ian!

10/10 would turn Ian into soup again hahah. It was fun, and I’m glad I gave it a shot off stream to save you guys from watching me get lost , I personally believe there’s a lot more heart and soul in the first game and upon finding it pulls back a layer and shows you how dee the game can get , all without holding your hand, where as in the later games, they force you into situations that have little to no emotional impact and come off as stale, it’s impressive this old game could do what it did .

23:51 Harold isn’t a ghoul. He was exposed to FEV and turned into a tree person. This is the same Harold who resides in Oasis in Fallout 3.

I still need to finish 2. Even on easiest difficulty 2 makes 1 look like child's play. That is the fun though.
@krisisgaming Жыл бұрын
Really? I only felt like 1 was hard in section with mass gun fights, and once you get Some armour, those few hard fights become less and less. I’m keen to try 2 but I might take a bit before jumping into another long project light this one was haha

It’s funny because the entire first 2/3 of the video avoiding Necropolis and then when he finally got there he made things so much harder by just killing everyone

I’ve seen reviews on these and they’re sick! Eventually I’ll get around to playing fallout 2, and then we’ll move into mod overhauls

One thing I forgot! Before starting 1 or 2 please read the manual. See old rpgs do not work the same! Also they are a pretty good read.
@krisisgaming Жыл бұрын
Yeah I had to read the manual to learn how to repair, it’s over 100 pages long haha , but it’s got heapsssss of good info in it

@@krisisgaming It even had a recipe on how to make your own desert salad or something like that. Very good world building.

I just realized something. Fallout 1 is the equivalent of your dad sending you to the store to get milk then banning you from the house. Pulled an Uno reverse card on the vault dweller

i tried to play 1 and 2 but my brain just couldn't jive with its controls etc..i despise turned based games..lol..i wish they'd redo it in 3d or at least and easier to get control scheme. dragon age inquisition gave you option to do turns or realtime which i appreciated!
@krisisgaming Жыл бұрын
It did take a while to get used to, and I did have to read the manual, but all in all I think it was a good game :) dragon age origins is where it’s at, I couldn’t get into inquisition haha
