The First FIVE Longboard Tricks you should learn as a BEGINNER | Beginner Longboard Tricks Part 1

Hey guys! Today I'm teaching you how to do five easy beginner longboard tricks: The Ghostride, Tigerclaw, Frontside/Backside Pivot (switch), and the 360 spin (2 x 180)! These are all easy beginner tricks that you should be able to master with a few weeks of practice, and they are really fun and applicable to a wide variety of other tricks! All of these will help you master board control, improve balance, and add a stylistic flair to your cruises.

The pivot was my first trick and seemed pretty easy. But it’s also the only trick I know how to do consistently.

Frontside pivot should've been first, easiest trick here, your feet are never leaving the board, best for beginners.

I wish you lived in Toronto and held longboarding lessons lol. Do you (or anyone) have any ideas on how to get a partner to learn with or get lessons from a pro? I have tons of anxiety riding alone... and as a beginner. Any suggestions?

Unlike skateboards, I have found that the chance of landing on the side of a longboard is extremely small, and I think it’s because of the weight of the board and the size of the trucks
