Former Packers safety and Pro Football Hall of Famer LeRoy Butler recalls his historic first Lambeau Leap from Dec. 26, 1993. The Packers' victory over the Los Angeles Raiders clinched the team's first playoff berth in 11 years, paving the way for 22 appearances in the postseason over the last 30 years.

I was at the game. The crowd went crazy just before the kickoff when they announced the temperature as 0 degrees. I remember being impressed with Chmura and Sharpe who were not wearing arm coverings. That night on one of the local Green Bay stations John Jurkovic was talking about how the boys from Muscle Beach wanted no part of playing in that cold weather. If I remember correctly Howie Long got caught wearing baseball spikes in that game. Great game but brutally cold.

This was the first Packers game I attended and the lateral pass happened directly in front of my seat. I heard Reggie grunting as he tossed the ball to LeRoy. One of my favorite memories. I was 19.

I believe it started in 07 in the madden game series it let you choose a touchdown celebration. They had 3 options, "Subdued" where the player simply cheered "Over the top" where they would do a back-flip or something And "multiplayer" where other players lift them up Except as the packers alone if you chose multi-player you did the Lambeau leap every time

@@broizon205 You can watch him disect the plays after every game and he knows what he's talking about. He's also fed up with the defense and knows they could be way better and are full of talent being wasted.

My favorite part of this video is Leroy trying so hard to speak clearly. I can't imagine how many takes he had to do. Leroy Butler is an absolute character and a Packers legend, no doubt.

I had left work and went to my local watering hole to watch this game, and I got there about 30 minutes before this happened. We had the audio on the TV turned down and Jim and Max turned up on the radio, and it was awesome to experience it. Awesome moment in the history of the Packers franchise

I was at that game. We cooked steaks in the parking lot before the game. We turned the steaks over for the last time and put a pad of butter on them. Instead of melting the butter froze to the meat.
