I really wanted you to answer the class cancellation question. I'm paying full price out of pocket (almost 2 grand) for a welding class and now they're trying to make it online... The vast majority of that tuition money goes towards the steel we're welding on, the equipment and the electricity it takes to run that equipment. I don't think it's right for them to be able to keep my entire tuition when the price of the class is largely determined by the physical resources at the school.

My youngest sister is in her senior year right now and it's so sad that her senior year has been so interrupted. We're really thankful that this all went down after the national dance competition because if her team had to cancel their trip to Disney world to compete and visit the park it would have been so disappointing. Her school's trip to Spain for the Spanish classes is canceled and as of now people are only getting a partial refund, her graduation has been postponed, AP tests have been postponed, her senior dance recital for which she chorreographed a tap dance to "Help" by The Beatles, she had to cancel the 2 college tours she scheduled, and she had to cancel her summer trip with her Spanish friend to Spain and NYC. And we're incredibly lucky that so far my family has only had to deal with those kind of fruatrations. My other sister moved back home the week before everything started going down in our state because she broke up with her boyfriend and because she's a bartender she's now temporarily unemployed but at least she doesn't have rent to pay or groceries to buy. I dunno what my point is, but stay safe everyone and do what you can to help those who aren't as fortunate as you during these trying times. And demand government action for working people and not billionaires and corporations!
