Remember I said You In that two flashfires episode where u thought that fight was bad and this season is not so good.I said at that time , YOU ARE NOT READY FOR THE PEAK............THE DEKU ENTRANCE IS ONE OF THE HYPEST AND CRAZIEST MANGA PANELS EVER..........JUST WAIT MAN.......AND ALSO NEXT EPISODE WILL BE FCKING HYPE TOO.

BONES cooked so hard with this episode man, the visuals were great through the whole runtime, and they managed to pack in way more content than I was expecting them to. Everything from here on cements this arc as goated MHA for me, so hopefully this episode gets anime-onlys hyped for the future. Thank you for the reactions! 🙇‍♂️ Edit: It does look a bit confusing, so I'll just clarify that Shigaraki doesn't use any kind of shield quirk when blocking Bakugo's attack as his quirks are currently 100% being erased by Monoma. Its just the way the visuals for the explosion impact look that may admittedly be easily misconstrued as him using a shield quirk to block when he's instead just using his bare hand.

The CGI has nothing to do with the movie its CGI simply because no sane animator wants to draw all those hands especially if they actually have to move around. Either that or other aspects of episodes would suffer due to so much time being put into making the hands 2D, its just a smart time saver similar to the CGI titans in Mappa's AOT.

@@plasmaricreacts agreed, believe me I'm all for critiquing how Bones has handled the MHA anime, I just want to be fair to them when it's something I don't think most studios would do outside of certain scenes or episodes (ie: Toei/Mappa/Ufotable) Honestly that what I hope they do.

NAH thats foul. The hands had to be CGI, can you imagine animating thousands of hands moving when you could be animating the actual characters fighting? you gotta understand the decision there.

someone else commented that. it makes sense, however they could have blended and composited the cgi to fit the enviorment better and not look so jarring, similar to demon slayer and other anime.

Remember, there's two AFO's. The person himself, with a copy of his quirk. And the original quirk itself, inside Shigaraki, his vestige mind overlapping with Shigaraki.

i thought shiggy had the copy of AFO and AFO had the original?

@@plasmaricreacts AFO had his quirk extracted at some point before Kamino to be given to Shigaraki, and the Doctor replaced it with a duplicate, hence why Gran Torino noted something was different about AFO's combat style, his original stolen quirks were gone. While the Doctor believed it was a Successor situation, AFO knew his Vestige would be passed along. If he can't overcome OFA, he'll literally use Shigaraki to do it. The minds are synchronized as a result, AFO has access to Shigaraki just like All Might could sense Midoriya with the Vestiges, as two of the same person exist. Just like how OFA and AFO are opposites, the same is for the Vestiges. The OFA Vestiges don't interfere, while AFO is overlapping Shigaraki's mind. Like AFO said to Endeavor, he no longer cares about his own body, since "he" now lives in Shigaraki too.
