Welcome onboard the Disney Fantasy for a 7 Night Eastern Caribbean sailing visiting Road Town Tortola, San Juan Puerto Rico, and Castaway Cay (Disney’s Private Island)! What makes this cruise special is that this is the very first Pixar Day at Sea sailing! Much like Marvel Day at Sea or Star Wars Day at Sea that we have seen from DCL in the past, this voyage launches the first ever Pixar Day at Sea! We can expect to see lots of Pixar inspired activities, shows, character meet & greets, entertainment, food items, and fun! Get your Luxo Balls ready, pack your super suits (but leave your capes at home) and meet us on the scare floor, because adventure is out there! We’re going to have a rootin tootin good time! To infinity and beyond!
TODAY IS THE DAY! This is THE VERY FIRST Pixar Day at Sea day! So much Pixar themed fun is in store, including rare character meet and greets, unique activities, a special dinner menu, new shows, and a special Incredibles themed firework show! Hi, we are booked on a Pixar cruise next month. We booked it for our son, he's a big Toy Story fan... mainly Buzz Lightyear! Disney used Buzz in all of their promotions for this cruise, but I have not seen his meet and greet in any videos. The only time we have noticed Buzz is for a few minutes at the stage show. Did you notice if Buzz had a meet and greet? Did you see him on the cruise... besides the few minutes on stage? Thanks for any insight you can provide us 😊

Hi Jennifer! We talk about this a bit on our last day onboard but that video isn't out yet. So they have special meet and greet that you can book on the app. You can either book an encounter with The Incredibles (which is what we did) or you can book an encounter with The Toy Story characters. You can only book one of these meet and greets (so since we book The Incredibles one we couldn't book the toy story one). I don't know for sure but I assume Buzz would be apart of the Toy Story special meet and greet but I don't know that for certain. Also something to be aware of that with these meet and greets you pick a time but you don't know what characters will be there at that time. So for example when we went to The Incredibles one Mrs. Incredible and Edna Mode were there but we saw on a schedule board that Mr. Incredible and Frozone would be there later in the day. So if it were me I would sign up for the Toy Story encounter and then ask somebody onboard if Buzz would be apart of the experience and if he is but he's not there during the time of your scheduled slot if you could come back to meet him when he is there. I'm sure they will accommodate you if they can. Other than that the stage show that we showed was the only time we saw Buzz. I hope this helps and I hope your son gets to meet Buzz! I went on the cruise after, and there really wasn't Buzz. For the Toy Story m&g, it was either Buzz and Bo or Jessie and Bullseye.

Looks like a blast... Can't believe they had Joy and Sadness! Though what's up with the Incredibles? The costumes are better at Disney... These feel like Times Square knockoffs.
