Doubling the price is so sad, but a good sign that so many people have stopped giving these awful people any money that they’re sinking to gouging the few remaining zombie spenders. That Steranka and his toxic cronies cannot get over their egos to return the game to its past success is even more sad. Anyone still paying them now are just complicit in making the game worse.

Most are not concerned with the dollar increase it’s not as bad as the remote raid increase. I don’t play as much anymore these days especially sense it’s colder. However I don’t like the trend they have been on lately. Come this time next year how much will things have gone up. It’s a so called free to play digital game that we have no rights to and can be banned from for little to no reason. Take care going forward and good hunting all.

The game isn’t dying, I think it’s a sad reality of the direction of gaming where people who played games post 2009 really don’t care about micro transaction costs. Pokémon go is cheaper to play than Call of duty content or even other games that are not even mobile. That’s how crazy things are. It’s the reason why I play this I guess.

im so glad tcgp is here now. pogo and niantics antics are so bullshit half the time, im totally content for my monthly 10 and having far more fun battling online and collecting interesting cards. and thanks to the price increase in pogo, this is a great time to stop playing.

If Rillaboom ever gets frenzy plant it will top many of the Shadow plant pokemon. For a budget non shadow, and legendary, sure Meowscrada will be a good choice grass attacker. I don't get into top 10 over grass attacker that includes pokemon that has grass moves but aren't grass type like Xurkitree.

I've purchased literally every Com Day ticket to date. Ima wait and see what the confirmed rewards are. My enjoyment of the day has VERY little to do with the paid pass. If they don't bribe me hard, I'll probably pass on principle.

They already increase the tickets price for com day. They are already trying to sell the tickets for December com day tickets for $4.99 usd .

Niantic also increased the prices for Pokecoins in Europe. The 100 coin pack now costs 1,09€ instead of 0,99€. Overall, I think people will spend much less money on the game because of these changes.

Firstly,niantic need money to sustain Pokémon go like all other game did. The balance between a free and pay to win player is the art, and we definitely watching Niantic doing the limit testing here. Just don’t spend, and everyone not spending on stupid thing but worthy events like the safari zone, they will give us more event like this

Definitely a mixed bag. Sure some people will buy it without thinking, others will deeply contemplate it, others don't want them to think that this'll slide and won't buy it out of principle. I think what would've served them best was making two packages. A 1$ original ticket with the original rewards and the newer 2$ ticket with the greater rewards.

Meowscarard: dark and grass type. 🤔 Dark = Mega Tyranitar, my goto if I ever need a dark type to fight in a raid. Grass = Mega Sceptile & Kartana. Easy pass on this event. Rather keep the little piggy fingers warm and not driving while it's dark, rush hour traffic and crazy out. 🤣
