If it is too small, just double blanket under it and the children can ride without any discomfort to the horse. I always kept a child’s saddle for anybody who came to visit and wanted to ride my horses.

Rudnik looks like he's not missing too many meals. Ages ago, my horse opened two gates, both of which were fastened shut differently and we found him climbing the concret porch steps to come into the house.

He’s actually finally at his ideal weight! He’s a big boy and we struggled to get his weight down from 1300lb in the spring. He’s finally at his ideal weight now after losing 150lb but he’ll always be a naturally thicker boy - definitely not starving 😂

Please, please, slide your hand through under the saddle to feel where your hand hangs up. That will be a pressure point on your horse. Any horse can feel a fly on its skin! Remembered that. This can begin with a muscle spasm or create a spongy lymph accumulation, which later can lead to difficulty bending or turning.😮 This eventually creates "arthritis" or whatever. Long-term saddle stress can create stomach/ digestive issues.... Check if the saddle slides back while riding. Do not adjust the saddle, ❤ slide your hand under the saddle once again, feel what you can feel.... Also look for "indentations" or swellings/spongy areas on your horses back under the gullet, the seat, the cantel & the back housing.😢 Stand behind your horse to check if the saddle is straight. If the saddle is bent, it can explain certain flexibility issues.😢 We are so concerned with superficial appearances & our personal comfort, we are puzzled why our beautiful, loving, generous companions act up.😮 ❤ If horses could scream in pain we would feel really bad. Great little saddle. But how far can you elevate the stirrups so the "little man's" legs can reach them. Maybe at first you should be looking for a baby's car seat that can be adapted to horseback. And what exactly did you think was coincidence at first? Rudnik undoing his tether? Of course it wasn't coincidence. I have seen on previous videos where he undid his tether to go look for treats. And apparently he knew before you did when you were pregnant and he herded one of his buddies about whom he was obviously worried towards to watering trough and last, but by no means least, his overwhelming acceptance and unquestioned verification of your choice for a life partner. Smart horse? Absolutely!! Take my advice. Start saving now because if Rudnick ever takes an SAT test, you'll need the money for the horse's equivalent of Harvard.

@rudniktheroan 😉 It's FUN to mess with people's conceptions! I did this with a 13hh pony 30 years ago! Showed the photo, told everyone he was bigger than a shire horse! Weighed 1600+ lbs. (He was half that!) It's the forced perspective of the view.😁 Just too much FUN!!!🤣🤣🤣
