Any deck that does something rarely or never seen (first time seeing V-link in MD) OR 3. Back and forth duel with each turn being a comeback (generaider) OR 4. Playing through at least 4 separated negates (tear replay) OR 5. My personal bias: SHS or Snake eyes loses to a meme deck (like numerons) or cheesy tactic (mikanko, runic deck out etc)

Yeah...The reason why the Blue Eyes player got lucky and won was because the snake-eye player sucked at piloting their own deck. He also didn't know how to toggle on and off the right way. The biggest misplay was not linking off Flamberge and Nibiru to make Masquerena and doing the combo from there. I don't care if they ran out of time or whatever kind of bullshit they have to justify themselves, the snake-eye player deserved that loss because of that huge misplay he made on his turn. It was clear the Snake-eyes player could easily win, yet...there it is......he just lost. That was such a waste.

I was wondering why Ray's decklists on MDM only had one DM now, I was always way too scared of Called By to run less than 2, but I didn't know the Branded cards had synergy like that. I honestly don't know much about Branded cards; I guess I just kinda tune out Branded players until they're finished then worry about breaking their board afterwards.

I'm not sure what the chat is thinking. Blue-eyes and Dark Magician won because the opponent misplayed. The replay shows that the Dark Magician's strategy with Branded was very effective, whereas Blue-eyes seemed to rely on random card draws (Maybe he got bad hand). Many comments suggest that Dark Magician was banned because of Branded without regard for gameplay. If this is true, it's unfortunate that this good series is being undermined by chat due to senseless hatred.

Half the people who blindly hate branded have no idea how to pilot the deck. Branded is easily the most difficult deck to master in the current meta, but people are complaining because something that takes skill is actually good. The same people will do the same braindead combos on snake eyes and think it's good. The fact that they banned the DM guy simply for using some branded cards is wild.
