I agree with you all:) I actually did see chad in 'get on up' and thought he was excellent but he seemed like any other good actor which never garnered any real interest on my part in wanting to learn more about him. However in Black Panther? I actually thought he was AFRICAN! y? because he totally nailed the accent! lmaoooo Now, that's a sign of an incredible talent! Only a great actor can transcend any typecasts of prior movie roles. I really believed he was African! (cant stop laughing about it lol) That's a unique gift to possess by being able to breathe real depth, life and credibility into a role. For me, *KING T'CHALLA IS THE EPITOME OF TRUE MASCULINITY* because he is a man of integrity with a true sense of self-awareness and cultural identity. His strength is not merely constrained to his physical prowess but resides most importantly in the strength of his character. A man grounded in his principles, he is compassionate yet unassuming and humble. He acknowledges his limitations, takes responsibility/accountability for any fuckupz (or his family'z shit aka daddy killing uncle and leavin kuzzy erik behind lol) by seeking council and wisdom from this peers who are mostly women (#girlpower lol) in order to find the best possible outcomes. He values and respects women and is not threatened by their ideas and opinions, in fact he welcomes it! He is progressive in his leadership and understands that in order to perpetuate the advancement of his people everyone must be represented and heard! ANYWAYS zzzzz......lol Since watching some of chads interviews, getting to know more about him, its refreshing to discover that the man behind the mask shares similar traits to King T'challa :) #FAN!
