Chadwick Boseman represented so much to the black community. He portrayed many prominent figures from our culture. The first black professional baseball player in Jackie Robinson. The first black supreme court justice in Thurgood Marshall. The king of soul in his role as James Brown. Then the King of Wakanda in T'Challa the Black Panther. A movie that showed an absolute empowering representation of black people. Not criminals, drug dealers, slaves, weak, poor people. But royalty, self sustaining, super hero, strong, independent, powered people. He played powerful roles to the people of our community and to our children. He was such a great actor as well, not a poor one in his potrayel. This was so sad and shocking to find out. Rest in power Chadwick #Wakandaforever

The fact that it was kept quiet, meant that he acted all his MCU scenes himself (likely his most physical role thus far), with and without the mask. Much respect to the guy for doing all that whilst dealing with chemo and surgeries. I wonder how many people on set knew that something was up? In my tradition and religion we in earth for a test to pray to Allah and to follow the prophet Muhammad once q die their will be judgement day and we receive the scores on how we did on earth than if u failed the test u go to hell and if u did good u go to heaven and it's stays like that forever. The people in heaven live and the best life they would ever live and in hell they get burned forever and just feel pain unless god forgives some of them. Life is short

Now that we know T'Challa was sick even during this interview, you can observe the man closely and look at his hands, fingers, his face, forefront, neck and wonder how far the cancer was destroying his body from inside. This man was Very Very Strong to play all the movies and shoot Black Panther. He cheated us man in a good way and I like that the press didn't get even the slimmest idea that T'Challa sick and destroy his peace with stupid papers about his health. Several celebrities have passed whose death made me say "oh my God" but this one touched my heart. This young man always seemed so humble and endearing. His smile was infectious and his performances almost made you forget he was acting. He embodied each and every role he played. Even little kids looked at him with admiration. Black Panther was probably his most prolific film but Get On Up was my favorite. I don't think anyone else could have captured James Brown's essence quite like Chadwick. He was and forever will be the personification of a true Black king both on and off screen as well as an inspiration to the world. To quietly battle through such pain while bringing joy into this crazy world and still be a master at his craft says so much about his character and his strength. My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to Mr. Boseman's family and friends. May God comfort them and bring peace into there lives.

What a strong mind he possessed! He knew that his end would likely be prematurely imminent, yet he stoically steeled himself to do as much high quality work as he could get through, before he was stilled and silenced. No public self-pity. No public pleas for TP. No search for special attention from those who were not his “near and dear.” “Black Panther” was just a character - conceived by others; Chadwick Boseman proved to be a worthy role model in real life. I find that inspiring.

@Mark of Excellence it is your battle, God can give us clear paths to go through if we listen but it is up to us to walk through the path or else it is not our life, if you pray God will give us recipe, but you must make your own meal. as the king said "be your own Hero",

@Mark of Excellence I'm not afraid, I know what I believe. My belief in my beliefs have not been faltered at all. I stated that there was no reason to provide you a reason because it wouldn't have changed anything when it comes to someone like you. I'm made that conclusion by reading your past comments.

I'm so sad about his passing but thank GOD, he had moments that were very fulfilling and felt love. Many die without that. So young and so talented. You were touched by GOD.

I like his Humility: "Everyone is a Hero in their own story." RIP Chadwick.

The world of Wakanda is a country full of hope and strength, and solidified by T’challa’s leadership. I would follow his lead. As a very talented man, Chadwick Boseman represented the best in remarkable men, a remarkable human. James Brown, Thurgood Marshall, Jackie Robinson...to have Chadwick pass away on the very day honoring Jackie Robinson, with the Mets and Marlins walking off the field after 42 seconds of silence,...then leaving a “Black Lives Matter” shirt on home plate. He was elegant, well spoken, honorable...you will be missed Chadwick Boseman. #RestinpowerKing #WakandaForever

I am watching this interview and this man is deep into the conversation and we didn't even know his trials. Sometimes we complain about the slightest things and make a big deal about stupid stuff. I really believe this man knew is purpose so he embraced it all the way to the end.
