Love the work on these! Didn't get a pair but that's ok because I'm not a white sneaker guy (I got the smugs in green!). hope the collab was successful enough to try again in multiple colorways.

A wider toe box last that doesn’t look like clown shoes would be awesome! Smooth leather instead of pebble leather and a normal outsole to differentiate it from the Birchbury.

Be honest, do they squeak when you walk in them. Bought a pair of Koio, and they squeak so bad. Unwearable it's so loud

You have to break them in and they’ll stop squeaking. Although mine never had a squeak

@randytran8804 it was the foam of the insert. I have several leathers sneakers. The sticky foam for whatever reason was so loud

You can fix it with some petroleum jelly under the insole and a little bit of baking soda between the tongue and the uppers!

i think white luxury sneaker has one key feature is its last, and that’s what common project comes to shine. to be honest no one really gonna resole the sneaker anyway, and among the most followers of common project’s type of white sneakers one one really near what common project’s shoes shape is. and the shoes last were the hidden value that most people don’t notice. but in person you will feel it. for most of the dress shoes category a distinctive and historical company’s shoes last shows its value like Camina,Alden, Santonia

My biggest complaint against the white sneakers, is the speed that I burn through the rubber outsole. Many of them, are too soft, with hollow rubber. I would love to see some sort of dual density outsole, with a harder portion of the outsole covering a softer sole. Yes, I know this may mean less flexibility in the sneaker, but I will easily trade it off if it means getting more than six weeks of wear out of the so-called perfect sneaker.

Love the quality even though I can't stand trends born of designs that mimic 10 other designs, but at the same time no hate for those that love these kinds of basic shoes for that basic look in itself.

Bingo. Both things can be true; CPs are overpriced but were a good looking design (subjective) and they led to lower price knockoffs of the same or better quality. I can't justify the CP price, but also don't want to buy a ripped off design either.

That's just your average mega corporation sneaker, except for asking that it lasts. Thursday is the closest to that I know from this channel, if they fit you. Otherwise here's to hoping that we shut down companies like Nike and all so that small builders can thrive and lower prices.

Please check out Canadian army Garrison boots from the mid-1990s. They have 11 lace holes each side steel toe and a vibram heavy combat sole. They are shiny like a dress boot. My favorite boots I've ever owned.

I never saw the appeal of an all-white sneaker. A single block of color? In my eyes its ugly and lazy. But i do realize its a matter of opinion, and to each, its own. Personally, i like panda, and reverse panda, for white and black sneakers. As long as its not too much (ie. just accents), it looks great. My favorite as far as design goes, are the Adidas VS Pace. They look amazing in both white, and black. Not super quality, but they are affordable.
