This model arrived to me, I will test it. Preliminary we can say the following: The assembly is excellent, but there are some points. For example, the smell from the box of rubber bands and the case... It reminded me of the smell of rotten vegetables in a damp cellar... I hope that the smell will go away. I wish the top rubber band was wider. But in fact the flashlight holds without it. I found the control convenient. The lower mode at 100 Lm is quite working. What about the light: the main light is different from most competing headlamps. The light here you can say long-range, which is good. Longer use will show how much it is convenient. HighCRI low beam is a bit disappointing with its uneven illumination. The light is shifted to the left because of the location of the LEDs, you can see the texture of the reflector on a flat surface, which is not good. The same goes for the red light, which is shifted to the right side.

Very nice. But i want a new version of Thumb, please. I own 4 Nitecore rn, fav being TUP as a bedside flashlight, it does not roll and the buttons are easy to find.

When compared to the counterparts I have, the Fenix HM65R has a nicer shade of light, but will lose out in terms of run time and maintained brightness. Its far light is comparable to the Nitecore HC65 UHE main light. Another top-end headlamp - AceBeam H30-CRI (but already on a 21700 battery) is not so long-range, gives a wider backlight with a pleasant shade of light, slightly wider and more powerful near highCRI light, although without the ability to adjust its brightness, which is a minus), brighter red light with a clean backlight (also without the ability to adjust the brightness), the present longer run time - 380 Lm for 7.5 hours, not to mention the older brightness. But it's a bit heavier and 2x the price, as is the Fenix HM65R

On the site tgreviews has already released a review of this flashlight with performance graphs. As you can see from these graphs, the runtime stated in the official Nightcore table can be safely moved one step lower. In fact, the most popular 400 Lm work in this flashlight for 4.5 hours. Which, by the way, is not bad for a flashlight with 18650 battery. 14 hours of work are achieved here only in 100 Lm mode. High modes at 1300 and 2000 Lm are close in brightness and fall equally within 5 minutes. After warming up the flashlight, of course, you will not see such duration. But the flashlight will allow you to puff and illuminate everything around for a while. It is somewhat surprising that, judging by the tgreviews graph, the 400 Lm mode drops with time, and from the 1300 Lm mode the lantern drops to 500 Lm and keeps it constantly... Why the 400 Lm mode initially drops to 300 Lm after an hour is unclear.

I would recommend the TM20K from the tiny monster series. Amazing flashlight. 20,000 lumens max output and a long battery life on high mode. I never go on a mine explore without it!
