The Fisherman - Fishing Planet: Lone Star Lake - Exploration I & II, Part 1!
In our first real episode of The Fisherman - Fishing Planet, we will be heading back to Lone Star Lake, Texas to start taking part in the two of the first Missions that are available, Lone Star Exploration I and II! I have prepared my gear for this trip with the best available (non-gold) equipment for my current level to help with the task. Unfortunately, I end up having a few technical problems causing me to lose a little of the footage from Exploration I, however I continue on with Exploration II until I fill my keep-net beyond capacity! I also learn that you don't always need a mouse to play the game, if you have a touchpad!

Hey hawk I know this is a day late for responding to the video but the reason studying, but if you ever have a problem with the mouse not reeling, look at the keybindings some you can change for the keyboard to be the secondary control that you can use to reel and strike.

Hawkeye M, I know you uploaded this video 5 months ago, so after playing The Fisherman for the past 5 months what your opinion is it worth the 39 dollars to download on steam? Also does all the DLC in the game become available as you get higher in level in the game? I really enjoy playing fishing planet thats why i'm asking.

Honestly, I think The Fisherman is a lot more friendly to the Casual Player as you don't have to spend nearly as much in-game money, plus the licensing is cheap! The one DLC is only 5 bucks and it comes with an Awesome Boat with a Pro-Fish Finder and has the ability to attach two rods for trolling!

hey dude in trying to get a blacktail shiner but i cant seem to find a nice spot using the proper bait. can you tell me whats the best spot for blacktail shiners? thanks and great video.

I catch them most often over deep water with red worms and a 40 inch lead. Try to use a #8 hook or smaller. A #16 hook is the best!

You just need to complete the missions. The missions will often get you cool stuff even before it becomes unlocked in the shop.

after 3 days of playing, i can't even get the game to load up/ it's loads to 80% and the screen just vanish and the steam app pops up. do i have to uninstall and lose all my progress? im lvl 14

You might need to. When the game went live I had to start over due to updates. Not sure if that is what happened to you, but it could be the case.

What is the difference between fishing planet and the fisherman-fishing planet???

The Fisherman you pay only once, no micro-transactions. Also it seems a lot more balanced in regards to income earned from fish and the cost of gear. Plus the licenses are much cheaper! Fishing Planet can be played without spending a dime of real money!
