Absolutely brilliant podcast Kris is such a great guy and angler. Can relate too alot of his comments especially doing the qualifiers. I decided to have a go I was nervous and a venue not I’d been. I went through the whole thing I wasn’t good enough didn’t wanna do another one felt disappointed. But then I decided to have a go at my local venue I caught 59lb I didn’t win but it felt amazing to catch my biggest match weight. Now I’ve changed my mind set and tried to learn more and practice on areas I was unsure and now my catch rate as increased. Definitely gonna have a go next year in the qualifiers 👍🏻 I met Kris at tunnel barn and occasionally message him always gives good advice.

Love these podcasts. Matts great at getting inside the anglers heads. Always left thinking about different aspects of my own fishing after listening to these top anglers. Can’t wait for the next one (Dave Berrows Wayne Swinscoe 😊)

Bit late to the podcast. But my answer to the last question I. The first fish u catch. Well get u hook and you will always remember. Plus fishing will alls challenge you no matter what. Weather its running a 100metre long jump and so on. I understand the views are different but at the end off the day it's the se. Yes the fittest do better do better. But definitely venues and pegs. Changes absolutely everything

Should be able to fish of the top in matches thats what put me of going in the summer id destroy any angler in the country if i could fish on the top properly but to many rules and mythes involved ive got a video of me catching 2 carp in less then a minit i could do it alll day long it just gets boring in the end

Why don’t you sell the new match combats in a long leg please lve just brought a 36 X-Large with a regular leg and there to short apparently you don’t make a long leg why please
