Thanks man, yeah this is only a third of what we actually caught, I foolishly lost a go pro and when I replaced it I was too tight to replace the memory card and I used my spare so I had to selectively film stuff.. when I got the triple I wasn’t even wearing the camera 😅 that triple was in the creek mouth, closest to land one I’ve caught!

I run a Dobyns Champion Extreme, very high end with a price tag to match but seriously look at the Dobyns Fury range, they’re around the $300 price point but have a lifetime expediter warranty which means it doesn’t matter if you accidentally put it in the fan or slam it in the car door, you can take your broken rod into the shop and pick up a new one for half price. That’s the best thing with the Dobyns rods! As for line I run 30lb and 40lb Sunline Castaway on all my baitcast reels.

Yeah mate it is, but it’s a higher end Japanese braid which doesn’t have the coating that fuses the strands together, instead each individual strand is coated before it’s braided which makes for a softer and more supple line which adds the lures action by cutting through the water better, it’s also significantly thinner which helps maintain lure depth on the retrieve and you will feel a lot more due to less drag.
