Neko rigged worm falls nothing like a wacky rig. To get a quicker falling wacky action you need a slightly weighted wacky hook. The neko falls in a straight down nose first actuon and is a bottom contact technique for the most part. Point is neko is a vertical presentation and a wacky rig is a horizontal presentation.

Then tell that to Alton Jr. who I saw consistently catch fish on tour using it as a water column bait. Yes, it falls different, But I wouldn’t say it is mostly bottom contact

@TylersReelFishing it Is mostly a bottom contact technique and rig no matter how one person may fish it smh 😂. You kept saying falls like a wacky rig as well and it don't periodthe end lol. One person btw doesn't make up "most" or " mostly" that's one person's way not the over all way something is done lol. Drop shot is mostly a bottom weight contact rig but some fish it in 50ft of water on suspended bass too. Most use it as a way to say above vegetation and slim filled bottoms by a foot or less. Those techniques are not just some US pros they are world wide used now 😂. Japanese came up with them and they way they mostly fish them is the way most fish them js lol.

Lipless here in Wisconsin is my goto bait. My favorite bait in ponds during the pre-spawn to the post-spawn is the 3/8oz Hammer-Trap or 1/2 oz Rattle-Trap. My favorite bait for lakes in same time period including fall and late-fall is 1oz Rattle-Trap and 5/8oz Hammer-Trap.

My goals for 2025 are: -Learn to consistently catch fish on finesse lures (wacky rig, weedless drop shot, and topwater popper) -Get better at switching in between rods on my tiny boat -Fish moving baits more with my new rod combo. -Try larger baits like big worms, jigs, paddle tails, walking baits, big Jerkbaits.

First off your videos have been super helpful. I have a couple questions regarding GoPro settings, rods, and reels. 1- Did you adjust the color settings or anything else besides superview, 1080p, and 60fps? 2- Is there a bait caster rod or reel that can be used for finesse fishing like drop shots, senkos, and ned rigs? 3- I’ve messed up by when is started fishing (I was like 9) I bought 2 spinning rods, a 5,6 medium and a 6,0 medium. I would like to get a new rod, preferably 6,9 medium. Any recommendations for rods? 4- I have a cheap shimano on my 5,6 and a 13 fishing reel that I’m ok with on my 6,0. What reel should I get for the new rod or do I move the 13 fishing reel to the new rod and get another cheap Sorry for all the questions and thanks for all the help through your videos and previous comments!

Got a bunch of swimbaits for nect year then for 2025, not buying any new lures. Using what i have. Bass forecast is $30 not $20 anymore. And in AZ we know its tough, never see it over 5, and can definitely catch well
