For your next mega campaign, start in Imperator with the Invictus mod. Create the Roman Empire, but only stay in Europe. Next, play in CK3 with the Fallen Eagle mod. Make sure to convert your Hellenic denominations to Christian ones, as Christianity doesn't spawn in Imperator. Then, in CK3, try to survive your collapse, and maybe form the HRE. From there, do whatever.
